There aren't enough words to describe how awesome the team at Vista Celestial were. Every detail of our stay and excursions were thought of so we could experience the best vacation. The place is so beautiful and peaceful so if you are looking for that this is the place for you. Our every meal was delicious and carefully prepared to our liking! Consider this place if you are thinking of going to Costa Rica.

Our fifth yoga retreat at Vista Celestial was the best yet! They have provided a beautiful environment for our group to practice, relax, and refresh in nature. The abundant food offerings were fresh, local, and diverse. We really felt the spirit of Costa Rica in every meal. The accommodations are exceptional, and the yoga spaces are perfect for a large or small group. Every person on staff was helpful and friendly, walking us through excursions and even planning special events for those in our group who were celebrating engagements and birthdays. I can't recommend Vista Celestial more highly.

Went with my family of 4 and we loved this hotel. The staff and the drivers were amazing and genuinely were really welcoming and nice people. We also enjoyed our excursions a lot and the guides as well. The outdoor jacuzzi with sunset view was also great. The area and beaches around the hotel are really special and unique. Would love to come back again

My wife and I spent four nights at Villa Celestial after staying at San Jose (2 nights), Arenal Volcano (4 nights) and Monteverde (4 nights). We were looking to rest a little and Villa Celestial proved an ideal setting. The hotel is really modern and comfortable with superb room views overlooking the Pacific. Highly recommended.

VC is wonderful! The staff is very helpful and accommodating. They took time to learn each name of every guest. The resort gorgeous, clean and just a fun place to explore. Looking forward to going back in 2026!

From the time that you walk in from the time you leave you are treated like gold ! The food was absolutely amazing and fresh ! Anything that you needed the staff provided ! It rained a little bit when we were there and you were greeted with umbrellas! The views are stunning and the wildlife is just amazing ! The staff is very attentive by the time that we left the staff became family to us ! I am returning in May and can’t wait

Excelente hotel boutique, comida exquisita, vista espectacular, villas muy cómodas con detalles de lujo, todo su personal muy atento, Carlos nos hizo sentir como en casa con su amable y cálida atención. En general una experiencia súper recomendada.

Had a lovely experience at Vista Celestial for a yoga retreat! Staff were very accommodating, attentive and super friendly! Waterfall hikes, whale watching, and tons of nature sightings on property (Monkeys, Coati Mundi, Arcari and Toucans!!!) Villas are gorgeous with outstanding views and private pool/hoy tub! Highly recommend!!!

I have stayed at or visited quite a few of the luxury resorts in the area but none compare to vista celestial in the quality of the details, from the villas to the outstanding staff on hand here who are not only incredibly attentive to your needs but also actually care if you are happy or not. The chefs / food experience is also unparalleled not only in Costa Rica, but in my opinion is even on par with some of the top restaurants I've dined at in New York City, except you get servers who are actuallly there for you at a moments notice. I'd like to particularly shout out Jose as going above & beyond 5 star hospitality & also Carlos who is an excellent mixologist. The views here are spectacular of course but the set up & comfort of the villas have been upgraded from my previous visits so that every little detail one could think of, such as extension of the back decks, & making the rooms cozier, has been improved. I'd also say if you are looking for a place for a romantic getaway, this is it, but also is a great spot for a family vacation. Thanks to the whole staff at VC including the night guard ! for making this such a spectacular week for me & my group.

Magnifique h?tel la vue est incroyable et le site est dans la forêt, fleuri et on y voit beaucoup d’oiseaux. Villa celestial est un h?tel très intime car il n’y a que 5 villas et le service est très attentionné et bienveillant. Le restaurant est délicieux. Merveilleux séjour!
