Great location, close to all the nice restaurants and bars in Provenza, but it’s not too central, so it is quiet and private. Super luxurious hotel with a biophilic touch.

Location is great and convenient. It has good dining options and healthy options. The flavor is great and clean. Italian, French and cafe were great. But the Asian option was very Latin style overwhelming flavor if you are looking for authentic Asian flavor. Atmosphere was wonderful though. I’ve never had real Asian food in Medellin anyways.

I’ll start off by saying we have stayed here on past visits and did not experience this. This time we stayed in the penthouse room 1516. It was my bachelorette weekend and we were 6 woman staying in the penthouse. We had no hot water in any of the showers. The water was like pouring a bucket of ice water on you. The maintenance guy came like 3 times the first day and told me this happens on that floor because the heater is too small for 4 showers which is ridiculous given that it’s the most expensive room. After that they would tell me the maintenance guy is not on property. On the last night the upstairs ac stopped working. We called and once again no one on property to fix the issue. Thankfully we were a big group and had multiple rooms booked with the guys staying in two two bedroom apartments so we all had to squeeze into a much smaller room with only two beds and two showers. Ruined our bachelor/Bachlorette since we were supposed to be just girls. They have horrible service when it comes to maintenance. So if your going to stay here I highly recommend not booking the penthouse and staying in multiple 2 bedroom apartments. Definitely not worth the extra money.

This hotel is 10/10 my new all time favorite in Medellin. The location is perfect for food and nightlife while still being far enough away from the party scene where you’re not kept awake all night by the nightclubs. Front desk people are good. Room was amazing. Zero complaints other than they wouldn’t let me live here for free the rest of my life.

We love the El Poblado area right by Provenza! The Wake property has such potential that I hate that our stay wasn’t spectacular! Our room was is right below their Power Gym on the third floor and from 5:30am every day until 5:30pm you have music blaring so loud the walls shake! It woke us up everyday and even with ear plugs and blankets on our heads we lost tons of sleep. Plus watching TV or enjoying company was marred by this loud music, yelling, thumbing. I have videos and the decibel levels are extreme inside our apartment with doors closed! We complained several times they asked them to turn it down it it lasted a couple hours before it was right back. The 5-6 people enjoying the power gym were placed in priority over the guests for our week stay. Unless I have a high floor I would not ever stay there again. For the price there are so many other places we have enjoyed. I will pick one of them. The food experience is wonderful and I would come back to eat there but not stay. It’s not worth the lack of sleep unfortunately!

The only negative comment is probably solely for the 3rd floor and possibly floor above me. There is a gym that starts playing loud music around 5:30am that wakes you up. Other than that I enjoyed the stay

My stay at Wake was incredible. The apartment itself was clean, modern, had everything I needed, and the view was amazing. The building was equally fantastic with great amenities including a lovely pool area and gym as well as multiple restaurants on ground level, also very safe and secure. The friendly concierge was quick to help with anything I needed. The surrounding area was also very safe and incredibly walkable with restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, etc. I will be back!
