We just spent a long weekend at Wild Thyme and cannot say enough positive things about our experience. The accommodation itself is stylish, clean, spacious, with every home comfort and luxury you could wish for. And the view from the terrace is beautiful - just sitting there with a morning coffee or glass of wine is lovely. The location is excellent- an easy 15 min walk to Oneroa where there are some lovely restaurants and bars. Finally, Bruce and Jules are the kindest and best hosts you could wish for. They picked us up/dropped off at the ferry, ensured we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant recommendations for what to do. It’s been a great end to our trip and we recommend Wild Thyme to anyone who visits this beautiful island.

Our three-night stay at Wild Thyme perfectly matched our intention - a place to chill at the end of an extended visit to New Zealand. Bruce and Jules were all that innkeepers should be - cordial and helpful including transport from and to the ferry. The large apartment-style room was ample and generous for space - with perfect weather we mainly hung out on the spacious balcony with its superb view toward the water and the constant sound of the birds. Access might at least raise a question, but was not a deterrent - the walk to town is not lengthy but the final stretch is a steep uphill - we were deliberately keeping our exploring to a minimum, and relied on the island's decent taxi services. Certainly on our list to recommend and for possible return.

Superb location with fantastic views out to sea. Stayed for 4 nights and could have happily stayed for weeks. Lots of choices re places to eat and most are within easy walking distance. Bruce and Jules are a class act. Great at what they do and highly entertaining.

If you want clean, comfortable, beautiful surroundings with a fantastic view, you MUST stay here! Bruce and Jules, owners, couldn't have been better hosts! They were just amazing! I highly recommend booking a stay here because it's just that wonderful! Waiheke has quite a few lodging choices to offer, but personally, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. This was our first time here, but I hope not our last. The location of Wild Thyme is great too. Just a short walk into the little town.

I cannot say enough nice things about this studio on a hill. The hosts were so kind and offered to pick me up from the ferry. The studio was everything you could want with a killer view. About a 13 min hilly walk into town. About a 5 min walk down hill to the beach. Sweet complimentary bottle of bubbles in the fridge. Pictures on site are accurate. We happened to have a terrible storm in the night and I felt totally safe tucked into my bed. Walked to the beach and town each day. Good WiFi. Also used a very good taxi service called Why Not Waiheke Taxi. Would absolutely recommend this location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The studio is really great and walkable to restaurants and cafes. Bruce and Jules are fantastic hosts, helpful with suggestions and rides to/from the ferry and wineries. Waiheke is a great place to visit for food, wine, beaches, and a great atmosphere.

Stayed at this amazing place on the 30th and 31st December 2022!! Really wished I had booked extra nights. Bruce and Jules made us feel so welcome. We stayed in studio 2 which was beautiful, everything spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed. Thanks Bruce for the lift back to the ferry terminal we really appreciated it. We would definitely stay here again! AMAZING PLACE!!
