Just home from a weekend stay here. Cannot fault the place, very friendly host and spacious clean room. Great value for money, would highly recommend

Check in communication was terrible. Advertised as a B&B but no breakfast.

Lovely, comfortable lodge. Offering daily change of towels, soaps and housekeeping. Instant-coffee, tea and biscuits along with a kettle were provided in the room.
This lodge was not in a convenient location if you wanted an easy walk to shops and restaurants/ pubs.
After hiking all day, we were a bit weary to walk the 15-20 min into town and back for an evening meal.
Breakfast is not provided so one would have to walk or drive into town. There were no facilities to make your own. A 15-20 min walk would normally not be an issue for us but our time was short.

We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable.

Property was fine. Perhaps greater publicity as to the TV room downstairs as we only found this on our departure. Nice overall thanks, Ian

Quarto n?o é aconchegante
Tv do quarto n?o ser smart, n?o ter canais funcionando é inaceitável. Tem um espa?o na porta do banheiro e todos os sons passam para o quarto. Espa?o n?o é aconchegante, n?o me senti bem. Valor alto para o que é oferecido.

Friendly hosts, room was good, they made arrangement dor us to have two separate beds. 20min walk to town, easy parking. Would stay again

Good reviews and rating are misleading.
This room was grossly overpriced and the previous good reviews were extremely misleading. There was no breakfast which we were informed about by email once we had already confirmed and paid. The key was in a key safe so we never met the supposedly wonderful and helpful hosts. The room was clean and the beds not uncomfortable but the shower was terrible. A tiny cubicle (approximately 70 cm square internally) and very difficult to control the water temperature. Noticed too late that the rave reviews were all from 2023 or earlier. No reviews at all in 2024! These old reviews should be removed from the website as they do not apply to what is currently on offer.
