The cinema is located in the very center in the historic building of the Angleterre Hotel opposite St. Isaac's Cathedral. There is also a cozy cafe where you can sit before and after watching. This is one of the few places in the city where films are shown in the original language.

The hotel does not live up to its stated status. Despite the 4 stars, prices here are slightly cheaper than in Astoria, but in Astoria it is much better and tastier. The rooms are old and quite dirty. It’s better to pay a bit more money and stay in Astoria. Very disappointing experience. There was no renovation in this hotel, all the doors were broken, the walls were shabby. So it’s better to go to Astoria!

Ranking this hotel at 5 stars only, everything from the beginning to the end was just perfect, but the most amazing here is their staff, I haven’t seen that guest treatment anywhere I’ve ever been visiting. Service is 11 out of 10, and maybe rooms are not the fanciest on the market, but their price is adjusted accordingly, so you get the best for what you pay. I’ve even asked their staff names, so I can be more appreciative to them, so now I know all of them and they know me by my name even if I stay there once a year:) special gratitude I want to express towards their team leader Varvara, who is highly skilled professional that is very rare on the market nowadays, she solved so many of my problems, even helped me with my personal problems by giving advice where to go and what to by for my friends birthday, she helped me to order flowers for my friends and you will never get that kind of serve in any 4 stars hotel, anywhere in the world. So now, no other hotels exist for me in Saint Petersburg. Thank you guys.

Amazing historic hotel in the heart of the city! We spend two nights in this beautiful hotel and we will be back again 100%. The location is amazing, it is situated in the heart of the city and all the sights and the best restaurants will be just a few minutes by foot. Special thanks to Margarita on reception for giving us a room with a beautiful view for our anniversary and for the free very early check-in ?? All the stuff was very friendly and the standarts was high. The view in the cafe on the first floor is stunning. Thanks to the hotel management for presenting us a bottle of champagne on ice with fruits, it was such a surprice and nicely. Overall great experience and certanly one of the best hotel we have ever beeb in Russia?? Mike and Vickey
