This was our return visit. There have been changes such as no free for all with the wine for dinner (which is good in a way as last year people were over doing it. Food was excellent and plentiful. Reception staff brilliant and really helpful. Waiting staff attentive and helpful as before. Good standard of rooms , clean and well kept. Cannigione didn't disappoint. Bit of advice: don't get towels from reception. It's a non refundable €20 charge, hopefully will be back.

Lovely Hotel.....but nothing and I mean nothing in the local town to do and don't get me started on mealtimes, it seems cruise ships use this Hotel for guests to stop over so of an evening they descend on the restaurant ..everything is total chaos, no food is replaced when empty. Waiters and people bumping into one another scrambling to get the last morsels. People complain to the manager but to no avail. The worst Hotel I've ever stayed in!!

We were disappointed with our stay, as the hotel did not quite meet the standards expected from a 4-star property. The bathroom and shower could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the breakfast lacked the healthy and varied options we were hoping for. When we asked for a fruit knife, the response from the restaurant staff was unprofessional and not very helpful. At the pool bar, there was also some confusion with the billing, and our drinks were almost charged twice. Overall, the experience fell short of what we expected for this rating, and there is room for improvement in both service and cleanliness.

First impressions can be very misleading and we were certainly misled the room was comfortable enough and the pool area was nice and spacious with plenty of sun loungers but that's it a very basic no thrills hotel certainly not the 4☆☆☆☆ that it claims to be , the breakfast selection is very limited cereals , yogurts the usual ham and cheese but never a hot selection the scrambled egg were cold and hard and the bacon must've been cooked the night before as it sat in congealed fat and as for the evening meal you took your life in your hands and hoped that you didn't get trampled in the stampede for the salad bar and as far as the cooked food was concerned it was Luke warm , with small portions served by surly unhelpful staff and if you dared to complain to the restaurant manger about the food being cold his response was there is a microwave.

Where do I start. 4 Star Hotel is a JOKE POSITIVES All communal areas were clean light and airy. The pool area was clean as was the pool, plenty of sun-beds. Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony over looking the pool area. Although the decor was a bit dated. We had clean towels daily. The maids were friendly. NEGATIVES Miserable looking staff that seemed like they could not care less. Especially in the restaurant area. Breakfast different choices of food, but what was meant to be a hot choice was COLD. Often the bread baskets were empty, and 1 toaster. Staff running around at 8am clearing tables and cleaning them (spraying them while your eating) then laying them up ready for evening. meals. The restaurant opened at 7.30 in evening, OMG I have never seen anything like it. If felt like being at school, we sat back and watched. Ques for everything, all the HOT choices were COLD, if you were brave enough to try some it got slapped down on your plate by staff that not once smiled or acknowledge you. The food stuff like salads etc was emptied quickly and so slow being replenished. The only member of staff in the restaurant area who spoke or smiled was the guy on the puddings. One morning tiles from the ceiling were bulging with water, they didn’t wait or ask anyone to move, they got a ladder and just started pulling them down and water gushed down. We ended up having some salad most nights if you could get any, then going out to eat.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet h?tel , et sommes satisfait tant au niveau des équipements mis à la disposition (chambre,piscine,transats en nombre, parc,parking gratuit etc que de la restauration ( que certains avis nous ont un peu rendus méfiants ), mais en fait les repas sont bons et variés , le petit point noir c'est le personnel de la cuisine qui fait le service à qui on devrait apprendre le sourire et à communiquer (surtout le grand cuisinier qui ne vous demandera jamais si la portion qu'il vous sert vous convient , mais il faut dire qu'il respecte bien les consignes données une tranche de viande et c'est tout) la salle est bruyante mais c'est supportable, un travail sur la communication en général serait un plus (hormis quelques classeurs rien n'est indiqué. la propreté est exemplaire, le personnel poli , l'h?tel est bien situé à coté de la petite ville , par contre une voiture nous semble impérative pour découvrir la région. Ne ratez pas l'attroupement devant la salle de restaurant à 19.30 avant l'ouverture des portes et la course au buffet..... une bonne note pour le service de café (expresso, cappuccino) proposé au petit déjeuner. bref un h?tel que nous recommandons .

El hotel está bien correcto, personal amable, la habitación amplia con terraza y tendedor.El desayuno bien, pero la cena bueno.La ubicación muy buena para pasear por Cannogione con un consultorio médico para turístas justo enfrente.Ni hay problema de parquing en el exterior.Ls zona de piscina lo mejor.

Ottima esperienza in questo hotel a cannigione… abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione e, in un primo momento avevo letto “antipasti a buffet “ per poi rendermi conto alla sera che era tutta la cena a buffet. Ci son in po rimasto.. però mi son ricreduto… serie di primi , di secondi, tanti tipi di dolci e tutto veramente buono di ottima qualità. Bisogna dosare i tempi, soprattutto nel week end , magari non entrando alle 19,30 per evitare la “fila ai buffet “… però davvero un ottima esperienza. In più bellissima piscina e grande cordialità al front office .

Lovely hotel. We had a balcony overlooking the gardens with a very nice sea view. Pool area was nice with plenty of sun beds. Nice bar area, drinks were not too expensive. Staff were friendly. Wi-Fi was good. Buffet breakfast was very good with a good selection : cheeses, cold meats, bread, cerial, pastries, salad items, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon and a barista making the best cappuccino! We had evening meal included which was buffet style, 3 types of pasta, fish, meats, veg, salads, soup and always beautiful desserts. 5 minute walk to the small town centre and beach. Nice bar 2 minutes away at the end of the road.

We are here now, a lot of the poor reviews are unfounded, the hotel is nice, clean, the food is fresh and well presented, most of the staff are delightful, the pool is lovely if not a little cold. If I was going to have to find fault, the bar staff are painfully slow and are incapable of multitasking even when you are the only one in the bar. Cannigione is lovely and very unspoilt, family's may find it hard to keep children entertained but for couples its a delight. Mid September and the forcast says 30°C but the apothecary thermometer in the sun says 40°C and it feels it, good excuse to be in one of the handful of restaurant bars.
