It is a bit difficult to find and more like an Airbnb—no one there at evening check-in and I had to call someone to figure out which room was mine and how to key in the code. But what was really strange was when the maid (housekeeping) just walked in without a knock on the door or announcing herself. It was mid-morning and I was asleep in bed--she barged in and spoke Italian for a few minutes, then finally left. The balcony is useless—unless you smoke and need to go outside. The room was TINY, the bed had only a top sheet on it-not a mattress pad under the sheet. There was a nice bathroom with a tub-jacuzzi. People talking at the desk downstairs woke me up. The front desk area is very small & guests had left empty water bottles & trash behind. I would not stay here again—too expensive for what it is…although nice location.
Property was beautiful, we had the superior room with the private terrace and it was so nice. The bathroom and room are decorated to a high standard and feels very culturally local and authentically Italian in feel.
