Myself and a group of friends stayed as part of a school reunion event which was taking place at the hotel. Thanks to the super friendly and welcoming staff, everyone had a fantastic time. While some of the rooms are in need of modernisation, everything was clean and comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. The bar area and function room are very nice with an outside terrace leading from the bar with plenty of tables and chairs. Everyone in my party who stayed overnight opted to have breakfast, which was nicely cooked and plentiful. The hotel is in a great location with views across the Menai Straits and easy access for sightseeing on Anglesey and the mainland. There is a massive car park, so parking is not an issue, however steps up to the entrance of the hotel may be a problem for those with mobility issues. If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly hotel in an excellent location then I would definitely recommend the Carreg Bran.
