We stayed here for 3 nights. The German owners, Olaf and Kathy are very friendly. Very clean, relaxing, safe. It's cozy, so there are not so many people, which was perfect for us. Hot shower. Very close to everything. No internet. We used the kitchen a couple of times, everything is very organized. If we go back to Puerto Viejo, we'll stay there again no doubt.

Il vista verde è "casa"... Francesco, il gestore è una persona stupenda. Saprà darvi consigli che miglioreranno sicuramente il vostro viaggio. Le stanze sono spartane ma pulite e danno tutte sul giardino da dove è possibile svegliarsi vedendo un bradipo che si arrampica sugli alberi. In questa Guest house l'unione e la condivisione sono la cosa più importante . Prezzi bassi e location perfetta. Proprio di fronte c'è l'agenzia di viaggi che offre vari tour in tutto il Costa Rica . Se venite a Puerto Viejo dovete perforza passare per questo posto ...

El hostal esta a una cuadra de la calle principal, en una cortada muy traqnuila. No hay internet, pero se pueden usar redes wi fi abiertas de la zona. as habitaciones y todo el hostal es de madera, con mosquiteros en todas las camas, la ducha es caliente y los ba?os son muy limpios, tan to en las habitaciones privadas como en las de ba?o compartido. Te dan toallas, y tenes acceso a una cocina muy completa para usar y ahorrar dinero (el pueblo es algo caro para comer). la habitaciin cueta alrededor de 30 dolares, vale n la pena, sobre todo comparado con otros hostels de la zona, que son muhy caros y ofrecen muy poco. Los due?os son una pareja de alemanes super amables, hablan ingles, espa?ol y claro, aleman, y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites

Compartimos varios d'ias en el hostel de Fracesco, muy felices por la comodidad que ofecen desde la calidez de las personas que forman parte del Hostel hasta las instalaciones disponibles. Es un sitio pequeno, con bello gusto en decoraci'on y muy accesible. La "vista verde" es un lujo, regala la posibilidad de relajarse en una hamaca y disfrutar de los sonidos de los pajaros al mismo tiempo que se encuntra a pocas cuadras del centro de Puerto Viejo. Tiene una ubicaci'on inmejorable. Otro detalle y de los m'as importantes es que estos bellos amigos italianos gustan de compartir recetas y platos con sus hu'espedes, delicias todas las que se cocinan cada noches con buena musica y energia. 10 puntos, los vamos a extranar mucho!!

The rooms are standard. No more than what you pay for. There are a lot of mosquitos. The window has to stay opened because it's so hot and there isn't a screen. The mosquito net over the bed has holes in it and it isn't large enough for the double bed anyways so you probably won't use it. They said the Yoga teacher was away on a trip and that we could pay to get yoga somewhere close (not sure if that's always or just while we were there). The walls are paper thin. We came back at 10:30pm and as we talked we heard a bang on our wall coming from the room where the manager sleeps. I was sure we were being a bit loud so we lowered our voice and heard the bang again. We were just talking (almost whispering, taking into consideration others were sleeping) and didn't understand how talking would disrupt someone. The next morning the manager didn't say anything so we assumed it was the girl who was sleeping in the room with them. It's not a horrible place but I wouldn't stay there nor recommend it.

My stay started quite well, but it ended up quite bad. I stayed almost a month and the place itself was fine, nothing fancy but close enough to the "city center" and stuff. Unfortunately, while checking out the owner had a nervous breakdown and screaming right in front of me. it was quite uncomfortable especially considering his big Doberman present during the scene. The guy told me a couple of profanities when I asked him to calm down. That was bad **** crazy.

Cette charmante maison d’h?tes offre une ambiance cosy et détendue avec un accueil chaleureux. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables, et les espaces extérieurs parfaits pour se relaxer. Un délicieux petit-déjeuner maison et d’excellents conseils des h?tes rendent l’expérience encore meilleure. Idéal pour les voyageurs en quête d’un séjour authentique et abordable aux Cara?bes !

Vielen Dank für die sch?ne Zeit bei Euch! Das Hostel ist zentral und dabei ruhig in einer grünen Oase gelegen. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so beim t?glichen Bedarf ben?tigt. Wir fanden hier, trotz teilweise regnerischen Wetter, Ruhe, Entspannung (chillen in der H?ngematte auf dem Balkon u.a.mit Blick auf Pipas und uns unbekannte bunte V?gel) und in der nahen Umgebung (z.b. toll das nahe gelegene Rescue-Center für Tiere) wundersch?ne Naturerfahrungen. Die Besitzer standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Nochmals vielen Dank!!

Our stay in Hospedaje Vista Verde was one of the highlights of our trip. Charming place, very friendly and helpful owners. The rooms were basic but very clean. Lovely building and the kitchen/dinning room area was perfect for a relaxing dinner surrounded by vegetation and wildlife. I would deffinetly recommned it!

A great, quiet location about a two minute walk from anywhere you might want to go in town. The shared spaces are cozy and nicely kept. Clean bathrooms and showers. The best equipped and organized community kitchen that I have come across in a long time. We were travelling as a family group of 9, getting everyone started with a breakfast "at home" is a cost saver.
