We had an amazing time at the Vista Verde Hostel. We spend five nights including new years eve in Puerto Viejo, which was a great decision. We felt very welcome at the Vista Verde Hostel. The room as well as the baths and the kitchen were clean. Cooking in the kitchen was really nice. We had our space in the fridge an a storage space in a shelf. The Hostel very close to the center and restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bars and the beach is very easy to walk to. The house itself has a great garden in with a lot of birds. The upper shower offered a nice view to a tree which was always visited by hummingbirds. Important to mention that Francesco, Daniela and Juan were great hosts with whom we always had a nice chat. We also got a lot of useful insider tips. We still miss the Vista Verde. This hostel is totally recommendable 6 of 5 stars :)

We initially booked 3 nights here as we were unsure if we would like it. We liked it so much we were sadly unable to extend as they were not surprisingly booked up. We had a lovely stay with comfortable room and very comfortable bed. What makes this place however are the hosts and staff. When I arrived I was suffering from travelers tummy and the host arranged medication for me. I felt really cared for and that the concern was genuine and not some artificial effort made to gain a good review. It has nice gardens with some scope for them to add extra rooms which hopefully they’ll do so more people can enjoy this great place.

Muy buena la atención, el lugar es hermoso visitamos todas las piezas y cada una tiene algo mágico. Totalmente recomendada. Se pueden escuchar las aves cantar en las ma?anas tuvimos la suerte de ver un perezoso en el árbol de la casa y otros animales
