We were greeted warmly with fresh drinks in the beautiful open air lobby. The hotel is situated only 10 minutes from the Udawalawe Game Reserve. The rooms are large, modern and have a classy colonial decor. The hotel grounds are lush and tropical with a fantastic pool and stunning rooftop views where you can see the lake and elephants and other wildlife in the distance. We were very impressed by Damitha, the resident hotel manager, who came over to greet us while we were dining and took special pride in making sure our stay was perfect. We wanted to stay longer at this lovely place but hope to be back in the near future. We would highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous paradise retreat.

Wonderful Hotel. Can't think of anything negative to say, Rooms comfortable, bed comfy, shower great. Staff helpful, food nice. Location great.

Centauria Wild is een uitstekend, gastvrij en op en top verzorgd hotel. Het heeft een mooi zwembad en een fijn observatie deck van waaraf je wilde olifanten kunt spotten in het tegenover gelegen wildpark. De inrichting is modern, de eetzaal groot, met een zeer verzorgd buffet. De kamer was ruim en schoon, met een royaal balkon en grote luxe doucheruimte. Ideaal uitgangspunt voor jouw bezoek aan Udawalwe Wildpark. Je kunt bij het hotel worden opgehaald door de Safari jeep. Wij zagen vele wilde olifanten en andere dieren, echt gaaf!

We had a short but enjoyable stay at the Centauria Wild Resort and had a wonderful lakeside view. The hotel is ideally positioned for Jeep Safari in Udawalawe National Park and to visit the Elephant Transit home. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which offered lots of choices. The Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. A Special mention to our cheerful barman Lalitha who served our drinks and the hotel manager Damitha who sorted out a late checkout for us.

We had a wonderful time at Centauria Wild. The rooftop view was spectacular, where we enjoyed the sunsetting over the mountains and the animals feeding around the lake. The staff were warm and friendly, and we were even included in the manger’s birthday celebration- thanks Damitha! The room was oversized and clean Highly recommended

Clean, large and spacious room with bathroom. Large swimming pool with a slide. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Only negative experience in meals. Meals were not yummy.

Wir hatten zwei übernachtungen über Weihnachten im Centauria Wild.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verh?ltnis hat absolut gepasst: grosse, saubere und ruhige Zimmer, ein sch?ner Pool, sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende sowie die N?he zum Nationalpark. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Weihnachtsbuffet bzw. der Weihnachtsabend – die Mitarbeitenden haben sich sehr ins Zeug gelegt, das war deutlich spürbar. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut.

I visited Centauria Wild Resort with an Israeli group, and I experienced wonderful treatment from the staff at the hotel and in the spa. I especially enjoyed the amazing massage SEETHA gave me. She took care of me with all her heart, dedication and professionalism. She has hands and a heart of gold - I highly recommend this hotel and especially her as a masseuse. Thank you very much ??

Stopped after a safari for a quick bite. The buffet was OK but not very tasty. I only liked the fried fish and chicken soup. Some nice fresh fruit. Rest was blah.
