Before we start we want to point out the outstanding hospitality of the owner and their incredible kindness. From the first moment on they made us feel like home, even inviting us for some local sweets and coffee and organizing for us a very spontaneous Elefant Safari. Now to the room: it is very big, has a small garden and patio and a small kitchenette. We slept very well in the big bed, had hot shower and enough space for our backpacks. We would definitely come back, if we return to Dambulla. Bohoma Isthuthi “Amma” and family??

As like Sigiriya rock this rocky mountain trekking is also great. Here no one in the name of guide, to tell many stories, so more peaceful trekking ?? Real natural place ... One thing is making us to pay 1000 LKR, as donation for a cave Buddha temple (that too it is not for next Sinhalla Vishnu temple, where many locals coming)... ... a compulsory donation, by telling as ticket Traveller's visiting Sigiriya rock fort Dambulla too

What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

A very friendly family runs the place. It's very close to the main street but on a side street, so it's surprisingly quiet. I had a comfortable twin room with a balcony. Good A/C and nice-sized room Strongly recommended for the budget and the area

My partner and I were not at all pleased with this place. We like nature but this place had a lot of creepy crawlies. We were uncomfortable and stressed. The room we were in - which is 102 needs refurbishment. Specially the toilet they had given us! The net for mosquitoes had stains on it and the yellow cushions had green mold on it. We actually cut our trip short because we were awake all night scratching constantly. The lady and her family members,are kind and sweet. It is a good spot if you are well acquainted with nature and don’t mind constant scratching. The closest hotspot here is the Dambulla cave complex and it was easy for us to get the TukTuk but other than that, it’s an absolute hassle to travel anywhere because there are a few politics between the Uber/pick me drivers and the local drivers so you might have to wait forever to get one ride so it be best that you plan your transport in advance. The hotel did offer us a travel number which is also a part of their business but we didn’t opt.

Ottima accoglienza. La struttura è gestita da una famiglia davvero molto gentile. Le camere sono molto spaziose e la colazione preparata in loco è davvero molto buona. Ottima posizione per spostarsi verso luoghi quali Sigiriya e Dambulla Caves e volendo, anche spingendosi oltre, verso Minneriya e Polonnaruwa. Consigliato

family atmosphere; excellent breakfast (omelet, pancakes, toast, bananas, yoghurt, coffee, tea), which was a morale saver, because in this part of Sri Lanka there is a complete disaster with restaurants; cozy and clean rooms with air conditioning

Nice place but very tired. Owners are really lovely people. Room was large. Bed was very comfortable. With good facilities in the room and a lovely balcony with comfy furniture Unfortunately the shower was cold and the Wi-Fi was not great. Breakfast was good

Very friendly family run guesthouse with clean, modern rooms with private gardens in the jungle. You can sit on your veranda and watch the monkeys playing in the trees. Lovely fresh fruit and pancakes for breakfast. Very clean ensuite bathroom.
