This place is a really small hotel, perfect for when traveling in a group if you want to have more of like a holiday home feeling. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom in our room was truly impressive. However, the couch and blankets need some deep cleaning or replacement as there were big stains on them. The pool is mostly shallow expect for the part closest to reception. The beach unfortunately is not usable. You cannot go swimming there but instead need to walk 15 min to the right towards Turtle beach. A staff member showed us the way on the first morning. While that is a welcome trip to see the turtles, it further emphasized that this hotel is just not ideal for a beach vacation. Also beware of booking day trips here. They do not have any flyers or written materials. Instead a staff member will talk to you about trips such as safari and call his "friends". Prices are far too high and the entire thing felt super sketchy. Especially as the price suddenly dropped when we reserved with another company we found in our travel book. I would not recommend booking tours here, find some respectable offers elsewhere (travel books, TripAdvisor...). Food was good and plenty though.

Die Anlage liegt ziemlich abgelegen. Mit dem Tuk Tuk nach Galle ca. 10 km. Das Mobiliar ist ziemlich abgewoht und abgenutzt. Liegen am Pool sowie die Sitzm?bel beim Essen, geh?ren dringend erneuert. Entspricht auf gar keinem Fall einem 5 Sterne Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sch?n. Betten bequem. Moskitonetz am Bett auch teilweise defekt und auf keinen Fall dicht. Klimaanlage kann nicht individuell geregelt werden. Laut Fernbedienung ja, in der Realit?t geht es nur an oder aus. Intensit?t usw. kann nicht eingestellt werden. Leider kann man direkt am Hotel auch nicht im Meer baden. Um ins Meer zu gehen, muss man ein ganzes Stück nach links oder rechts laufen. Ca. 500 Meter. Wobei es dort weder Liegen noch Schatten gibt. Essen ganz o.k. Entspricht nach meiner Ansicht auch keinem 5 Sterne Hotel. Ziemlich einfach gehalten. Die Mitarber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich, wie alle Menschen in Sri Lanka

Добрый день! Отдыхали втроем в отеле Era Beach, сказать честно, такого персонала приветливого я никогда и ни где не видела. Очень отзывчивые, добрые, улыбчивые люди. Даже без чаевых. Был у нас включен только завтрак: он был по меню. В завтрак входили фрукты, фреш, яйца, картошка, масло, хлеб, кекс, чай, тосты, кофе, варенье. Все вкусно! Бассейн имеется, но не глубокий, если вы с детьми отличный вариант для вас. Отель очень чистый, красивый, уборка хорошая, есть все необходимое для комфорта. Ни разу за время отдыха 10 дней ни одного гада не было в отеле. Единственный минус отсутствие пляжа, так как у отеля очень сильные волны, НО, это не минус, так как Шри-Ланка имеет кучу крутых пляжей для купания, куда можно поехать и покупаться. Тем более сидеть у пляжа у отеле вам незачем. Все пляжи от отеля от 5 до 20 минут. Тук -тук стоит к отеля всегда, 200? 5 минут и вы уже на пляже. Персонал иногда провожал нас до машины даже с ворот - это безумно мило. Если у вас медовый месяц, хотите уединения, вам не нравится толпа людей с утра у завтрака и шумный буйный сосед, то этот отель отлично подойдет для вашего отдыха. Мы из Москвы. Отдыхали много где. От души рекомендуем вам данный отель.

This hotel may not be for everyone but it certainly suited us. There are only 8 rooms so things are very quiet and relaxed. There are a number of staff around but due to the nature of the hotel they often need to be tracked down to order a drink etc. The hotel is located on the beach front but you cannot actually go in the sea here due to the rocks. However there is a lovely secluded beach a little further to the right (approx 15 min walk along the beach). Alternatively, you can jump in a tuk tuk outside the hotel for a short ride to a number of beaches close by. On our first night we were the only couple eating at the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal cooked for us. The food was always lovely especially the fresh seafood. We had breakfast & dinner there for the 3 days we stayed. Sanjeewa was particularly welcoming. He was very chatty and attentive. He was also able to offer us advice on places to visit. He was certainly a highlight of our stay here.

We had a great experience at era beach, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice food and beautiful environment. Great place to catch up with friends. Noticed that there was limited parking space. I recommend providing guests with more toiletries eg: shampoo and toothpaste.

My wife and I came here to relax after our two week tour of Sri Lanka. We were the only couple here with all the staff on tap to provide for our every need. It is beautifully appointed, scrupulously clean and staffed by the most friendly and attentive staff. The food was particular good. The manager was also very obliging to any of our requests. As we had seen the area in our tour we spent the time walking the beach, swimming in the large pool and reading. Perfect for our finish to a holiday in Sri Lanka. ( I understand the hotel is fully booked out for the three months after Christmas.)

The villa was really nice and the pool was pretty big. It overlooked the beach which created a wonderful atmosphere. The beach area is a bit small and rocky but fairly clean. The staff were great and very hospitable. The only slight disappointment was the food. The menu was a bit sparse in that respect and it was just about average. There was also no BBQ which would have been ideal. Overall, great stay but the menu can use an improvement.

We went with friends,altogether we were 5 families with 11 children. The villa has 5 rooms and all are different categories but nicely arranged spacious rooms. The staff were very polite and fulfilled all our needs whether it’s a change of menu or the time of serving.They made all the possibilities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
