We booked our Era beach for the Avurudu vacation with my family. We took 6 rooms for the 3 nights. The property is beautiful but there were a lot of shortcomings. First of all we was travelling with my new born. When we went into one of the sea view rooms, it looked like they hadn’t swept the floors, the couch looked like it needed a good sofa cleaning and the toilet had cob webs. When I informed them that they needed to clean the room properly only then they cleaned it. Second their food, we ordered the Sri Lankan breakfast on the first day. The food was good. On the second day we ordered the western breakfast, according to their FB pictures they have nice hash browns, eggs, bacon, lots of mushrooms. But we only got a few potato wedges, chicken ham piece, and 2 mushrooms. When I requested for bacon, they said they don’t have any. We also wanted to get pizza for dinner, they said their oven is broken and we should go to wijaya beach. It was quite annoying because I couldn’t travel much with my little one. Their dinner service got really late - 1.5 hours. When we made a complaint to them, their excuse was we usually don’t give this out to locals. We were like why did you even give this property to us then. Their excuse for everything was this. It’s such a shame because we usually aren’t too fussy. But I wouldn’t visit this villa again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I only gave 2 stars because I loved the view and the property is nice provided it’s given a proper deep clean.

Such a wonderful experience.good example for hospitality of Sri Lanka.lovely relaxing place to spend the time with family and friends. Nice food and nice cocktails. Friendly staff .??Rilwan was really friendly from our arrived. Special thanks for Shantha and Nishantha.we will definitely come back on our next holiday in Sri Lanka. Please continuing doing good job and make proud our mother land.????????
