Avoid if Traveling with Kids: Big Rooms, Hostile Service
The rooms here are big and clean, but the service was incredibly unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was hostile toward our children and made us feel unwelcome. Despite being prepaid via Trip.com, she repeatedly questioned our kids' ages to try to charge extra and even "investigated" our payment method. Most frustratingly, she refused to let us in unless we provided a card guarantee that was never mentioned in our booking. It’s a shame, but the judgmental atmosphere makes this a poor choice for families.

I had a wonderful stay here about two weeks ago. The room was exceptionally clean and unexpectedly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect—within easy walking distance of Cardiff Bay. Additionally, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed made to feel uncomfortable and unwellcom manager was rude maybe because a am Asian charged me extra ￡35 for a person would not stay here again bar staff where helpful manager made my check in and out a pain maybe better if I was white

Good size rooms - liked cold water dispensers and ice machine - efficient receptionists - free parking - clean throughout hotel - good location - bedding/towels/ in room drinks/bathroom all excellent

The hotel location was in a very good location but the hotel wasn't up to much the rooms was run down a bit and the hotel didn't book my children into a room when I paid for them I had to go down to reception twice as the room didn't have enough towels etc in the rooms

Hotel is very good and very clean. Reception is very good.

Very clean and quiet hotel with pleasant reception staff and probably easy to access by car. Not so easy to get to by foot from Cardiff Bay station as extensive building works have closed off original pedestrian footpaths and lighting at night not very helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel but is something to be aware of.

Brilliant hotel, spacious room 2 double beds, 10 mins walk from a selection of restaurants, 20 mins walk from city centre, free car parking and ￡10 EV 7kva charging from 4pm till 10am regardless of KW used. Will return here.
