Cosy room. A lovely stay
Great stay. Lovely room which was quite small but the balcony made up for it. The breakfast was great every day. Location wise is was an easy walk to either Windermere or Bowness. Would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic stay, we were in the amazing suite, the rooms are spotless, the shower brilliant, quirky and very us :) Bed perfect and so comfy. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Ian is a hands off host which we loved, but is there if you need help. The hot tub and view and stream by the side made this trip so amazing. Perfect after a day walking. Location 10 mins to either town, highly recommend Base Pizza. Thank you so much. We will be back :)

We were more than satisfied with our hotel stay at The Glencree. The keypad and instructions for check-in were smooth and efficient. The romantic room was very clean beautifully decorated and had a cozy feel. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful quality toiletries, coffee/tea-makers, hairdryer and fast, free Wi-Fi. The balcony view and setting was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing in the peace and quiet there. The restaurant and service were spot on offering a continental and/or cooked English breakfast. Windermere, is one of the most beautiful spots in the Lake District. The location of the hotel is perfect it is centrally located within walking distance for Bowness and Windermere. We were aware of but didn’t have time to make use of the off site fitness center.

I booked a 2 night stay at Glencree through *********** and opted for a room with a balcony. The room we were given was room 1 , a small but spotlessly clean cosy room with ensuite with the balcony overlooking the stream, very pretty, with tables and chairs . Glencree is in a great position , being a 15 minute walk either side to Windermere & Bowness, has free parking for 4 cars but can also use the Church directly opposite. Breakfast was ordered the day before on the tablet in our room with a great choice and the time slot you preferred. Breakfast was served by Ian the owner, we had a full English which was cooked to perfection. Ian was the perfect friendly host. I would highly recommend Glencree and hope to stay again in the future.

Had an overnight stay last week, Ian sent us an email with a code to get in the front door and our room, Room 4 was upstairs and a spiral staircase, I was ok going up not sure about coming down it, Room was lovely and clean has the best shower ever, Breakfast was ordered the night before through a tablet, was served by Ian who is lovely, car parking is free or you can park over the road on the church, location was in between Windermere and Bowness, sorry we didn't get to say goodbye as you were busy with other guests, Thanks for a lovely stay.

What an amazing stay, the location was perfect along with the host, Ian, making us feel very welcome and looked after. I couldn’t recommend this guesthouse enough and will definitely return in the future. The stay gives you access to a local health club that has a spa and swimming pool which was nice and relaxing. The room itself was very cozy with a balcony that has peaceful views. Location was ideal with a 10 minute walk either way to Bowness or Windermere town centre respectively.

民宿离码头大约1公里，离温德米尔小镇也是1公里左右，其他都挺好，就是房间实在太小了。特别是淋浴间，沐浴的地方很小，转身也比较困难，特别对于男士来説。房间有一个小冰箱，放两个大箱子的话非常困难，如果住在一楼进进出出会比较吵。要表扬的是餐厅的早餐做得比较精致，但是如果每天都吃的话，可能也会腻了。
谢谢小木屋有自己的停车场，大约可以停五辆车，所谓的游泳池不是在这里，要开车大概五分钟的一个会所。
