On Saturday 31st January my daughter married at the Higher Trapp Pendle Suite Absolutely perfect day from the start to finish. Hannah Amber Sheila Emily and Joe looked after us so professional everything ran smoothly totally committed to making the whole day special nothing too much trouble. Amazing location beautiful grounds and venue you will not be disappointed.

Ate at Fitzys restaurant, great service from Sheila, Donna, and Mia. Food was delicious, and I couldn't fault it. Will definitely come again

We booked in on NYD for an overnight stay with dinner, all Inc bar & brekkie included. 3 couples made up our group, our rooms were spacious, comfy, clean & well equipped. Staff throughout are friendly, so helpful, love going back here. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. Good choice on the evening menu, food was great, delicious, well presented. Good choice of drinks too, bar staff excellent. Full English for breakfast was very good, excellent service to your table. Hotel is not brand new so expect a few creaking floorboards, part of the character. We will be back for a short break very soon, lovely hotel with great views & superb staff, thanks for a great stay x

We enjoyed our stay . The food and accommodation was good . There was an issue with the hotel running out of the advertised non alcoholic drinks which put a dampener on our stay and could have easily been rectified by the hotel sending out someone to obtain some . It’s the little things that are important and a simple solution could have resolved it. I would probably book again but would hope that they not only listen but take steps to improve from customer feedback

The Hotel was quite dated, the check in was ok. The Room was large but really cold. We went down for the evening meal and drinks expecting the room to have warmed up on our return. Unfortunately it was uncomfortably Cold,no heating at all in the bathroom and a Luke warm one in the bedroom. We looked for the Duty Manager but was unable to locate one.The food was fine and the drink was ok except the Guest Beer wasn't available. We had a couple of ￡s knocked off the final bill as a result of the lack of heating. This being said we won't be returning and think a better Hotel is the Answer. The Breakfast was probably the highlight, but overall would not recommend a stay ??

What a lovely area the hotel is situated. Staff were fab and the rooms were lovely. Would defo go again. Only wish is that they sold new Zealand savignon ☆☆☆

Higher trapp why can I say !! I had my wedding there and wow from first meet Megan going over the wedding plans and so on to my big day arriving and meeting Hannah my wedding planner was absolutely amazing I felt so calm with them both and the made our day fly by amazing and beautifully I cannot thank them both enough . The night before myself and the girls stayed in the girly room which was brilliant and the boys down at the lodge which they also loved thank you again mostly Hannah you was amazing everyone who attended the wedding has reported how amazing you were

A massive thanks to Hanna and all the staff at the higher trapp hotel. We had the most amazing time with you this Xmas. Yes a few tweaks are required but as you've only been there several months and this was your first Xmas you did amazing. Thanks again. Sharon Gary and the 2 doggys. We made great friends there and already started a WhatsApp group to come fir 3 days next Xmas.

We had our wedding day at the higher Trapp on the 28th. 23 of us stayed the night before and had a meal in fitzys. We all enjoyed our meal, no complaints whatsoever. The morning of the wedding couldn’t have been anymore chilled, myself and my bridesmaids had chance to relax, have our hair and makeup done and with the help of Hannah the wedding planner arrange the room without any hiccups. Some of the bedrooms are in need of some new furniture and some money spending on them but we knew this upon booking so it wasn’t a surprise or issue. The day went without any problems and everything from the ceremony, food and evening party went just as we could have hoped. For the time of the year we were very lucky with the weather, cold and dry, perfect for some outside pictures. Thank you also to Megan for helping us with any questions prior to the wedding. The DJ that the higher Trapp arranged (Barry) was fantastic and played everything we or our guests asked for. Leona & Anthony Taylor

We got married here on The 14th November. The venue is absolutely beautiful although the weather wasn't on our side ??. Megan's organisation skills were brilliant. Hannah was absolutely amazing during the day /evening made sure that everything was perfect,along with Sheila and Donna the dream team, along with all the other staff who did a fantastic job also. The food was absolutely perfect, everyone was raving how good it was, The service was absolutely flawless couldn't ask for any better. We had the most fantastic day and we would highly recommend this venue and the amazing staff. We was surrounded with the most amazing hotel and it's stunning grounds!. With lots of love Mr and Mrs Salkeld.
