What a fabulous place to stay . We were welcomed by Steve and Kate and not forgetting Mack the lovely dog . It was like home from home and nothing was any trouble for them . The room we had was overlooking the cricket ground, was lovely and spacious with tea and coffee making facilities and a bottle of fresh milk in a small fridge . The breakfast both hot and or cold was out of this world and plentiful. We will definitely be returning

I was booked in for two nights and felt comfortable and considered throughout the entirety of my stay. The room was spacious, bright, warm and clean. Couldn't ask for more! There is a roof terrace which is an absolute suntrap with an amazing view of the cricket club for any cricket lovers. Breakfast was superb. I am vegan and was given a wide range of choices for breakfast options. I plumped for a cooked brekkie which was hot, delicious and served with a cracking cup of coffee. I was given recommendations for vegan places to eat while out in town. Everything is super easy to get to from the location of the guesthouse. There were also lots of leaflets for local upcoming events (definitely planning my next trip already). The owners Kate and Steve were helpful and welcoming! From breakfast to bar service, they were attentive and generally good people to be around. The Guesthouse doggo Mac, is beautiful and friendly too. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone wanting to stay in Scarborough!
