Great for walking but not 5*
Although rated as a 5 star I struggle to see how. Hotel is in a stunning location, there is nothing around it but coast path which was fine for us as that is what we wanted but might put others off. Hotel looked tired in lots of areas, the communal areas seems unkempt and a little grubby, little things around that shouldn’t be such as the half eaten sandwich left outside our room was a good example. Looks like it needs an update for sure, lots of chipping paint and a grubby carpets. It’s not made clear that if you have a terrace room it’s a shared terrace with a few other rooms so didn’t feel at all private, especially as this is also on the road into the hotel too. The shower was dreadfully weak, cracked tiles in the bathroom floor and just looking tired, could hear everything the room upstairs was doing, especially their alarm at 6:30 in the morning…. No robes as stated, pillows are very uncomfortable and hard. Overall it was just ok. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in then end, mainly as it was Easter Sunday and apparently the chef hadn’t done the menu even up to the night before but then it turned out to be the same as the other nights so that was confusing. Breakfast was ok but small. This place could be amazing with a few tweaks and a good general manager with some attention to detail but sadly lacking in my eyes.

O atendimento do hotel foi excelente. Os funcionários super atenciosos. O quarto bem limpinho, tudo muito bem arrumado. Café da manh? excelente. Somente elogios sobre o hotel

This is such a beautiful hotel it has great views and walks, the staff are amazing and always wanting to make your stay the best it could be.

Beautiful location. Lovely staff, delicious breakfast. Clean comfy rooms. Something to note is Uber or similar services are not permitted in the area. We needed a taxi to Truro and all local firms were booked so had to drive. We’d already had a drink in the bar before we realised this, thankfully not enough to be unable to drive but if we had that would have ruined our plans. Also worth mentioning is that a 25 min taxi ride when we got one the following day was ￡50. We will return to The Lugger but just to enjoy the hotel and immediate location, not when needing to venture away.

Próximo a praia do Lázaro e da Sununga
Local muito agradável e muito próximo à praia do Lázaro e também da praia da Sununga. Hotel simples e aconchegante, com piscinas no térreo e na parte superior. Excelente local para ir com a família. Atendimento nota 10!

e a segunda vez que ficamos os quartos sao bons alguns ainda precisam de melhoria , porem comida , piscina estacionamento muito bons eles deixam vc a vontande e proximo a praia vale muito a pena pelo pre?o , unica coisa a melhorar o chuveiro demora a esquentar

Abbiamo passato una bella settimana camera vista mare al terzo ed ultimo piano mansarda nuova e pulita. Balcone attrezzato con bella vista mare Cibo e vino in bottiglia buono e buona scelta. Personale gentile Da migliorare il servizio mare, non solo di questo hotel ma anche di quelli vicini, lidi senza docce in spiaggia e bar, c è un bar vicino dove bisogna pagare anche per andare in bagno, c è molto spazio in spiaggia quindi spero miglioreranno come altri lidi vicino a loro! Consiglio!
