We spent our first two nights in Sri Lanka at JH Villa, and it was an excellent choice to recover after a long journey. The property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by peaceful and lush greenery. The hotel has a beach house exclusively for hotel guests with a terrace and sun loungers. We enjoyed a morning swim in the ocean there every day before breakfast. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and we had a large private terrace with TV and dining aera exclusively for our use. Breakfast was very good and generous, with a wide selection. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive in a genuine and descrete way and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and relaxed. We experienced the best service and hospitality of our entire trip here. We also continued to use the drivers initially booked through the villa, and they were always punctual, friendly, helpful, and drove very responsibly. We loved our stay and hope we get the chance to return in the future. Highly recommended!

My family and I have just spent 5 wonderful days at JH Villa which has been nothing short of perfection. We have all travelled extensively but all agree that this is the best place that we have ever stayed. Firstly the villa and impeccably kept grounds are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are the height of luxury and the technology - sound systems and remote switches are cool. The food (2 evening meals and breakfast everyday) was delicious. Most importantly, I'd like to compliment the Villa staff. Sami, Marlon and the rest of the team looked after us throughout our stay. They are very friendly, hard working people. Nothing was too much trouble and they really went above and beyond to look after us and make sure our holiday was the best - always with a smile. The wildlife is also fascinating. I would highly recommend JH Villa to anybody. We were treated like royalty. Thank you so much.

4 minutes from the seafront in (Galle) Very tranquil, peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The Staff super friendly, attentive and discreet. Luxurious and spacious, separate bedroom, lounge, bath and separate shower. Outside terrace with tv & dining area. Bed linen ridiculously beautiful quality & mosquito nets Breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly cooked to order, wide range from around the world, not just Sri Lankan curry. Worth every penny and you get more than what you pay for. 24 Hours on premises security, CCTV All very discreet.

The perfect place to end your visit to Sri Lanka. We only had on night here and would definitely recommend 3 as a minimum. The hotel is stunningly beautiful and totally luxurious. The staff are exceptional, totally focussed on ensuring everything is perfect. They have a superb chef and I would 100% recommend eating in. I had fresh tuna and chocolate mousse. Delicious. The pool is a lovely place to relax and cool down. Thank you for a perfect stay!

More than just a luxury villa, it's an incredible Colonial style two-acre estate in a very private setting and a great location - just a few minutes from Thaipe Beach and 15 minutes to Galle. The staff accommodate any requests; arrange excursions, helicopter pick-up, safaris, surfing lessons, boat trips, airport transfers etc. We can't imagine a finer quality accommodation in Sri Lanka. The buildings, setting location, staff, food, furnishings.. Unbeatable.

I had the most amazing time at JH Villa. The property is stunning and has so much to offer. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. They were incredibly attentive, genuinely caring, and always went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and relaxed. The rooms are lovely—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with beautiful touches that reflect the charm of the villa. JH Villa is a hidden gem and I can’t recommend it highly enough. As a single mother traveling with my children, I often hope for a place that feels both safe and special. JH Villa exceeded every expectation from the very first moment. We were greeted with fresh coconuts and beautiful flower garlands placed around our necks—a truly warm and unforgettable welcome! The villa itself is stunning, with spacious rooms, a sparkling pool, a fully equipment gym - that I glanced in :-) A pool table that my children schooled me in - the student has become the master! But what made our stay truly unique was the incredible team. We had a private chef who made every meal feel like a celebration. On our second night, he even made us delicious pizzas in the villa’s own pizza oven—my children are still talking about it! It was served on a private dining area with a huge TV, where we watched Mary Poppins in the warm evening! Who can say they have experienced something so surreal and magical! Every detail was thoughtful, from the comfortable beds to the staff’s genuine care and attention. I always felt completely at ease, knowing my children were happy and safe. We enjoyed fun days out (with help from the team arranging tours) and quiet moments just soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re a family looking for a place that’s not just beautiful but truly welcoming, I can’t recommend JH Villa enough. We left with full hearts, happy memories! JH Villa stands out for its warmth, style, and unbeatable location. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to come back!

I had the exciting opportunity to stay at JH villa last summer with some friends and I can honestly say that it was beyond amazing! The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful and polite and the standard of the rooms was first class. Nothing was too much trouble and this was luxury at its best. The food was exquisite and the chef was always happy to accommodate different dietary requirements. The swimming pool was simply idyllic and I was also able to have a massage the private spa-this is a must for any guest staying there. I can not recommend JH villa highly enough!! It is absolutely beautiful in every single way and well worth a visit. I am hoping to return there this summer!! Thank you to everyone at JH who made me feel so welcome.

Wat een fantastische prachtige mooie luxe villa. Enorme gastvrijheid en service in combinatie met de historische locatie met luxe afwerking. Voortreffelijk eten i.c.m. De gerechten en luxe afwerking. Ook de service is hoog, het voelt daar erg fijn en vertrouwd.
