We came here for a belated honeymoon - it was well worth the wait! This hotel is absolutely beautiful - like something out of the Netflix series White Lotus! The location is great - secluded and lush surroundings but within very easy reach of the beaches and Galle centre. The food was excellent, too with plenty of choice. We had a spacious villa with a private pool surrounded by trees where we could watch the beautiful birds and monkeys. The massages at the spa were a highlight - and there was plenty to do without having to leave the hotel if we wanted- yoga, tours of the tea estate and cinnamon plantation- but we were enjoying the laid back luxury of our villa too much to leave for long! Finally the service was incredible - attentive, smiling and friendly without being intrusive - it was the perfect balance and we felt very well looked after. We are already planning our return trip to this special place. Thank you Kahanda Kanda for giving us a honeymoon to remember - what a dream holiday ?? Lucy and John

Tolle gepflegte Anlage mit Einzel Villen mit Pool. Man sitzt im Dschungel, sieht über Tee Plantagen und beobachtet V?gel, Eichh?rnchen und Affen in den B?umen w?hrend man im Pool schwimmt. Hervorragendes Essen und Design der Einrichtung ist au?ergew?hnlich gut Wir kommen zum 3. Mal her und k?nnen es nur empfehlen

We loved our time here as we finished our Sri Lanka tour. Peacock was our villa - lovely and spacious with views over the tea plantation Food was some of the best we had on our trip. Lovely local curries but everything we had was excellent The owner George cooper is a great guy we loved chatting to him The cycle ride around the paddy fields was lovely plus the local turtle hatchery also excellent from KK. Around 30 minutes from Galle too so a great base to see the local area. All in all a standout place would definitely recommend

We had the perfect family retreat with KK in early January. From the very start we experienced the full calm of the beautiful surroundings and benefitted from excellent and attentive staff. The rooms that we booked were well designed and beautifully styled and the restaurant was superb. The owner ( George) makes a great effort to make sure that everyone's happy. We will hopefully return next year.

Wonderful calm atmosphere. Very tranquil and the perfect place to spend the last few days of our trip to Sri Lanka. The location is perfect to access local points of interest and shuttle bus is available to take you to KK Beach. The rooms and clean and provide all you need for your stay. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back (again)

The most magical, beautiful, relaxing, inspiring heavenly escape it the jungle hill top above the tea plantations one could ever imagine. The visionary founder Mr George Cooper has created a luxurious hotel like no other and his team go the extra mile to make you feel at home. We celebrated our 27th anniversary and stayed at the magnificent Peacock Villa which is spectacular, with a sensational morning welcome from the peacocks that saunter through between the villas. The cuisine is delicious and reasonably priced and staff are super attentive. The ability to take a free transfer down to the KK beach to enjoy the wonderful facilities there is a lovely bonus. George has also created a collection of amazing garments and products that are available to purchase at the KK boutiques in Galle Fort and at the hotels. A wonderful stay, thank you to all the team for making it so special.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Kahanda Kanda Hotel. The peaceful and calm environment made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Being surrounded by lush greenery and nature added to the charm of the experience, making us feel completely refreshed. We were in hibiscus villa and it was clean and cozy. Food was delicious but wish it could be a bit spicy.The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, it was a memorable and beautiful stay, and we would highly recommend Kahanda Kanda to anyone looking for a serene getaway close to nature.

5* experience, beautiful hotel in peaceful setting. Lovely room with every attention to detail. Delicious breakfast with a view. All staff so attentive and helpful, especially Ushadi. Nice cycle ride to village and paddy fields.
