We had a beautiful, peaceful, and fantastic stay at Kahanda Kanda. The villa was serene and stylish, surrounded by lush nature. The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. Every detail felt thoughtful. Kahanda Kanda is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience of peace, beauty, and luxury. Highly recommend it!

We had an amazing holiday experience at Kahanda Kanda, The staff members were very kind & treated us like we were their family members, A very special thank you to staff members Aruna and Chanaka who made our stay pleasurable. The owner Mr Cooper was kind enough to personally visit us to check if we were doing fine, The Mutton curry is a must try at Kahanda Kanda it was packed with flavour, overall everything we tried was of very high standard, The rooms were nice n cozy our room had a lovely plunge pool , The staff had even covered my vehicle to protect it from blazing sunshine which was really a kind gesture. We will definitely return

We spent 6 nights here and what an absolutely stunning place. The location, the rooms , the staff. Everything is perfect, we stayed in habiscus villa with a private pool and can honestly say we just didn’t want to do anything all day but sit by the pool watching the stunning bird life and relaxing. The staff are superb . Amith makes the best espresso martinis and the young waiter Rashen is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Would love to come back one day. Thank you to everyone

If you appreciate the beauty of Sri Lanka . The jungle , the peacocks and monkeys in the trees , the peace and quiet of the hotel . But if you want to travel a short distance to the beach bars etc that is also at hand but wouldn’t recommend staying in those places . This is an excellent place to stay . I am very fussy with my hotels and this exceeded all my expectations. It’s a special place . The service is top class . The food is excellent. The rooms are outstanding.. If you can afford it book it .

This was my third time back to Kahanda Kanda and it just keeps getting better and better. George Cooper and his staff do a wonderful job of making sure their guests are happy and their attention to detail is incredible. The villas are beautiful and comfortable, the food is delicious and it is all set on a tea planation with gorgeous views.Their sister hotel on the beach near Galle is a bonus as well as guests at the hotel on the tea plantation can take a short tuk tuk ride and spend the day at the beach if they wish. I love this place and it is the ultimate in relaxation and comfort. I can’t wait to go back.
