Lot of mosquitoes.. the hotel wasn’t s providing the mosquito repellent., surrounded with garbage, it’s an eye sore. I won’t recommend this hotel, it’s terrible..
Great value stay
I really enjoyed my stay at Kutumbaya. The staff were really friendly and helped organise a safari and tour of the ancient ruins for me. The food was great, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfasts. The WiFi and air con were good and I even found some Premiership football on the TV. I’d definitely stay here again!

Très belle surprise malgré à notre arrivé je n’étais pas ravi ..cependant en y restant 2 nuits on est happé par cet endroit on découvre mieux les lieux et surtout Upul un manager très sympathique et très serviable, un professionnel de la restauration. A recommander !!
Pasamos 2 noches en este hotel donde estuvimos muy bien, especialmente el manager fue genial ????las habitaciones muy amplias, La comida super buena, me encantaron los anacardos al curry y el zumo de jack fruit. La piscina genial para refrescarte después de los tours. Un buen sitio a buen precio La única cosa menos buena son los mosquitos
Pros: Value for money. Good Returent with tasty food from the inhouse chef. Good room with TV/AC/Kettle ect. Cons: Photos of outside the rooms and premises published in the sites are not very accurate as the place isnt kept tidy and pool area is messy with towels put to dry on chairs ect. However they can improve a lot to present whats shown in photos. On the check in day we went there around 1:50 (check in time 2:00). We were asked to give 15 mini to prepare the rooms. But we recieved the rooms only after 3.00( Which can be a very rare occational thing as per them). Overall: Value for Money and good stay.
Kutumbaya is excellent value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by several aspects Kutumbaya offered. They included cleanliness, adequacy, spaciousness and many other facilities that one would love to enjoy in a regional boutique resort. I particularly like the architecture of the room! The management was caring and accommodating and went out of the way to make my stay comfortable. The staff was so friendly and was willing to provide all I needed. It is an inviting place.
