Hosting our foreign friends at La Pentera was one of the best decisions ever! They were absolutely fascinated by the authenticity and warmth of the experience. From the safari adventures to the calm canoe rides and the cultural fish baking at the rock and every activity showcased Sri Lanka’s true beauty. The eco-friendly accommodations were stunning, and the team’s hospitality made everyone feel right at home. It’s the perfect destination for anyone who wants to discover the real essence of Sri Lanka culture, nature, and comfort all in one place.

We escaped to La Pentera for a short weekend break, and it completely refreshed our minds. Boat ride on the still waters and the quiet walk by the Walawe River helped us disconnect from the busy world. The private BBQ dinner with authentic Sri Lankan dishes was simply delightful. Our stay in the treehouse was cozy, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Every detail — from the warm service to the eco-friendly design — made it a perfect romantic hideaway for couples.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. The setting, with treehouses surrounded by wild nature, made the place feel truly unique. The food was absolutely delicious, and every day started and ended with a smile from the staff. It was a joyful, relaxing stay that we will always remember fondly.

Very unique place to stay. If your expecting the Hilton, not your spot. More like luxury camping! Beautiful view from room. Lots of birds and butterflies in the morning and evening. At night you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature. Magical seeing the fire flies after dark! Also enjoyed the food, delicous Sri Lankan food!

Beautifully located in very peaceful area. The houses are great for chilling and birdwatching. We stayed at La Pentera for a week with our friends and we all unanimously said that it was one of the best experiences of our lives!
