An Unforgettable Stay in Nature I had an unforgettable stay at La Pentera! The treehouse accommodations were cozy and comfortable, blending seamlessly with the surrounding forest. One of the best moments was the river tour, where they arranged breakfast in the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. The canoe ride on Hambegamuwa Lake was another highlight, with an abundance of birdlife. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature.

A Hidden Paradise Between Ella & the South La Pentera is an absolute gem nestled between Ella and the southern coast. If you're traveling in between, I highly recommend staying for at least 2–3 nights to fully enjoy the different experiences it offers. The river tour was a highlight, especially when they arranged breakfast in the river—such a unique and relaxing experience! Canoeing on the lake was amazing, with so many birds around. The staff was super friendly, and the entire resort blends perfectly with nature. A must-visit!

Best Treehouse Experience in Sri Lanka! La Pentera is hands down the best treehouse resort in Sri Lanka! The experience of staying amidst nature was incredible. The views of Hambegamuwa Lake were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape from city life. They even arranged a visit to Kandiyapita Temple, which was a hidden gem by the lake. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt like a special treat. If you're traveling between Ella and the South, this is the perfect place to stop and experience something unique.

Breathtaking Lake & Amazing Hospitality Hambegamuwa Lake is one of the most stunning places I’ve seen, and La Pentera gives you the best access to enjoy it. The canoe ride was peaceful, and the number of birds we saw was incredible. The resort arranged a trip to Kandiyapita Temple, which was a fantastic experience—a beautiful temple by the lake. The food here was top-notch, with fresh and delicious flavors. I highly recommend this resort for nature lovers looking for a relaxing getaway.
