I stayed here twice. Both times highly satisfactory. Staff was very friendly and accommodatding. The rooms and garden area are in excellent upkeep and pleasant to hang out in hammocks or seating arrangements. The owners are very kind people, who even helped me organize a free ride back to the airport upon my departure (a relative happened to also take a flight off the island). I highly recommend this establishment.

Quiet and comfortable, yet close to everything Lovely hotel and grounds very close to harborfront. My private room was very large, a/c and hot water worked well. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked to order, plus fruit,bread,juice, and coffee. The staff were very friendly, and arranged for a taxi up to Baltra for me. I will miss Lava,the playful and cute hotel doggie!

Great pkace We loved our stay at Lava House. It has lovely outdoor space with various patios and an open air dining area where breakfast was included. The room and lobby had purified water dispensers for filling water bottles. We stayed three night and could easily walk to restaurants, bars, pier.

Ich durfte sieben Tage im Lava House Hostal übernachten und hatte eine rundum angenehme Zeit. Bereits bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich herzlich empfangen. Man erkl?rte mir alles Wichtige für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und zeigte mir die Einrichtungen des Hostals. Mein Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Bett war ?u?erst bequem, und auch das Badezimmer lie? keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: Es gab frischen Saft, Kaffee, Obst, Haferflocken, Joghurt, Eier, Brot, Schinken und K?se – eine vielf?ltige Auswahl, die satt macht und gut schmeckt. Auf meine Fragen zu lokalen Restaurants wurde mir ein authentisches Lokal empfohlen, das nicht nur k?stlich war, sondern auch durch ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verh?ltnis überzeugte. Alles ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Besitzerin sowie das gesamte Team sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ich kann das Lava House Hostal nur weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

We loved everything about Lava House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and great hosts. The breakfasts were also wonderful. Location was excellent for doing all the activities the island has to offer and the hotel can help arrange and make recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Highly recommended paradise in Santa Cruz Had a great stay at Lava House. Clean and quiet, a small paradise in the middle of Santa Cruz.

My sister and I went for the new year and were completely blown away by the beauty of the hotel, and the exceptional customer service. We stayed there for about a week, while we explored Santa Cruz and neighboring islands. The Hotel is in amazing location, a very short walk to town and Puerto Ayora. The breakfast was very nice, and gave us a great start to the day. The staff were extremely friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we felt at home. The ground are stunning, extremely well kept and every inch of it is picture worthy. I HIGHLY recommend.
