Fabulous location- close to everything. Friendly and helpful owner. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great - fresh orange Juice, yoghurt, fruit, bread and cheese and croissants. A beautiful town that doesn’t feel too touristy

This little hotel alongside the Notre Dame Cathedral is beautiful. It combines a medieval building with a sense of modern style. It feels so French! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, with elegance and practicality well balanced. The breakfast was a standard continental one, but good. Parking is difficult because of roadworks and restricted access, but the owner was very helpful with directions and a map. We loved it.

We were walk ins and took the last room Penelope, complete with circular bed and somewhat garish decor. Despite being v busy, host and hostess gave excellent service and warm welcome. Spacious accommodation, spacious bathroom, excellent cleanliness. Quirky charming old building, directly next door to Chartres cathedral (fascinating place to visit). Breakfast was simple but delicious and plentiful. Parking free in cathedral car park. Given pass to come and go as we wished. Also given excellent directions on departure. Hotel is a little tricky to get to at first by car because it is inside the traffic controlled historic inner town zone. But worth the effort because you are right in the centre with free secure parking and freedom to move car as you like. Impressed with high standards.
