First time staying here and first time in Seattle as well this location was perfect due to it not being too deep into the city but also a great walking distance from everything such as pike, the peer, Chinatown etc. the staff were all extremely nice and very helpful and informative about the different local areas to check out the gym was also very nice.

This is a lovely hotel with top-notch customer service. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. There was plenty of closet/storage space and the mini-cooler was perfect for keeping bottled water on hand. The ONLY thing that I might comment on is all the mirrors in the room. The interior of the shower door and the door to the toilet are fully mirrored. This is not really a problem, but just a bit jarring to see yourself in multiple angles (haha). If you are sharing a room with a travel buddy that you do not know super well...,you will definitely be closer by the end of your stay! Interestingly, there was no mirror above the vanity in the bathroom, but there was a portable mirror available for doing skincare/makeup/hair. There is not a ton to do in the immediate area, but it is only a 10-15 minute walk into downtown Seattle.

I recently stayed at the Lotte Hotel Seattle expecting a true luxury experience, especially given the premium pricing and brand reputation. Unfortunately, several issues took away from what should have been a seamless stay. One of the biggest disappointments was the bed. The room was advertised as having a king bed, but the actual bed was significantly smaller than any standard king most travelers would expect. When I reached out to management, I was told that because the hotel uses “Asian-style kings,” the size isn’t guaranteed and no compensation could be offered. For a hotel at this price point, that explanation feels like a technicality rather than real customer service. Additionally, the VIP spa package did not fully include all the services that were advertised and paid for. While the spa eventually corrected the billing after I reached out, this was another moment where the experience fell short of expectations. To be fair, the property itself is beautiful, and many of the staff members were courteous and professional. However, at this level of pricing, guests should not have to chase down corrections or feel brushed off when legitimate concerns are brought forward. There is a lot of potential here, but based on this stay, the overall execution did not match the luxury image the hotel promotes. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously, because the details truly matter at this level.

The staff was very nice. Especially Melissa who would attend via text message which was convenient. I got sick during the trip and was nice enough to deliver medication and extra water to the room

First impression was amazing and beautiful. But, when I decided to take a shower I noticed that somebody’s hair was on the shower wall. It was disgusting. We asked to clean the room, but the maid even not noticed that and didn’t clean. I didn’t like that we can’t have a Netflix or any of the smart tv access like YouTube. The ma

Overall, the experience was not bad. The customer service was great and everybody was very nice. There was just a lot of design issues that missed the mark with this hotel. There is no outer bathroom door and the window overlooking the bed does not allow for the light in the bathroom to be turned on if there’s somebody else sleeping in the room or you turn the light on right over their head. You have to basically get into the shower in order to turn it on and will get wet. There was no luggage rack to hold my suitcase. The bathroom could use an extra hook or two to hang the hand towels and robes. I did appreciate the complementary waters and our housekeeper did a wonderful job cleaning our room.

Overall, our hotel experience was excellent—from valet parking to the front desk, and even the room amenities. Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant left us with a very different impression. The restaurant offers a beautiful city view, which is no doubt why it’s so highly rated. While my mother (age 80) and I patiently waited for our brunch, two window tables opened up. My mother asked if we could move, so I approached the hostess. After she checked with the manager, our request was denied. When I asked to speak directly with the manager, he approached us without even a polite greeting and instead began with, “You want to speak with me?” I explained that this was the only day during our four-day stay when we could enjoy the restaurant and that we’d love to move to a window table to take in the view. His response was that window seating requires a $50 reservation fee and that switching tables would “confuse the staff.” To me, it seemed unreasonable to prioritize staff convenience over a guest’s request—especially since those two window tables remained empty for the entirety of our meal. This left us with an extremely unpleasant dining experience. I’ve stayed at many top-rated hotels around the world, and one consistent hallmark of luxury hospitality is that staff strive to accommodate guests whenever possible. Here, every other hotel staff member we encountered went above and beyond, but this manager ruined it
