However, I’m deeply sorry for the unpleasant experience at our restaurant, particularly with the manager’s handling of your request to move to a window table. I understand how disappointing it must have been, especially for you and your 80-year-old mother, to be denied a simple request to enjoy the city view during your only brunch visit, and to encounter an abrupt and unaccommodating response. The $50 reservation fee for window seating and the concern about “confusing the staff” should not have taken precedence over your comfort, especially when the tables remained empty. This falls short of the luxury hospitality we strive to provide and that you’ve experienced at other top-rated hotels. We’re addressing this with our restaurant team to ensure more empathetic and guest-focused service in the future.
