Clean room, friendly/helpful staff who went above and beyond for us despite some last second requests. Great location.

Nice place, well kept, coffee & tea, cookies, and cucumber water in lobby all day. Enjoyed our stay.

It would be 5 star, but the rooms have no place to unpack your clothes. There is a closet, but no drawers. It's fine for one person.

The room was fine; the staff was nice. However, it took forever for the water in the shower to turn hot — at least five minutes and maybe more.

Clean room and property, safe parking, block from the water. Super nice staff and the coffee and cookiew add a nice touch.

Front desk staff was courteous and the welcome drinks, cookies, coffee and tea were a nice touch. Cute hotel decor inside and out.

Overall, the hotel is in a good area and is a nice property. Check in was easy and friendly. They have a nice coffee area and free drinks upon check in. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. However, we ran into a problem when my husband got up to go to an event and wanted to take a shower at 7:00 am. There was no hot water. He went to the front desk to ask and the response was "there is no hot water until 9 am" WTH? Unacceptable in my opinion.

Excellent location in Santa Barbara that was close to the pier, shops, and eateries! Also, about fifteen minutes from UCSB. The hotel is boutique-esque without being pretentious. The room was cozy, yet spacious, clean, and bright. The facial wipes by the sink were a nice feature enjoyed by my make up wearing daughter! Additionally, the available toiletries were delightful! At the time we arrived, close to check in time, it appeared that there was only one person on staff at the front desk. We waited patiently, but people were upset that the complimentary hot water for tea was empty and the jacuzzi and pool were unavailable because the heater broke that day. I suppose this was fine since it was grey and cold outside, but it was an unavailable amenity on site. We loved the comfy beds and the great location and hope to come back again when sunnier and the pool might be available. Thanks, Mason Beach Inn!

Clean room. Front desk staff was nice. Wasn’t expecting the parking fees but that’s ok. I guess it’s normal nowadays. Not sure why check in times is so late now. Overall very quiet and clean . Thank you.
