We arrived early at No12 after I had arranged to drop off my luggage. As the room was ready, the hotel staff kindly suggested that we could check in. We were pleasantly surprised to be staying in a huge en suite room overlooking the street (No2). The room was spotless and very tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the use of a sofa to sit on when watching TV and drinking the plentiful supplies of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Both my daughter and I slept well - the twin beds were a decent size and comfortable. The breakfast provided was freshly cooked and varied. You eat your breakfast in the cafe/restaurant, which is clearly popular with local people, visitors as well as hotel residents. The hotel staff reserved our table for us to ensure there would be space at breakfast. Thank you - we had a relaxing stay.

Hotel fairly basic for the price we paid I've stayed in many b&b with a more luxurious decor for less than I paid at this hotel...not worth the money...thought the dinning room was basic decor.and could be clean.... breakfast was tasty disappointing with the continental display on a small table stuck in the corner...staff friendly..overall a lot of money for a basic stay...

Second visit to this hotel. We love it for it's location - just at the end of the high street with easy access to the beach. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms we have stayed in also have lovely large bathrooms. Nice bottled water, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and shortbread available in each room. Food in restaurant was great, very tasty and the hotel staff were all very friendly.

I stayed as part of a walking holiday on the John Muir Way and to take a boat trip to the nature reserves on the islands off North Berwick. The location is brilliant for both and for the town itself. I got a lovely welcome and all the staff I met were friendly and professional. My room was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and had a huge window with a sea view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely and powerful. Breakfast in the in restaurant was excellent, with a great choice, and quality food well presented. Really enjoyed my stay.

What a lovely hotel, the staff are really friendly and polite. I had a single room and it was perfect, very comfortable mattress and pillow. Breakfast was yummy! Seconds from the beach and highstreet - great location! Can’t wait to come back.
