We had a lovely lunch sat outside on the sun terrace. The food was excellent, the service from Freya was exceptional and the drinks were cool in the sunshine. The location is ideal for families getting off the beach for a bite to eat. Friendly atmosphere, brilliant service and great choice of beverages. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Five of us went for lunch to celebrate our friend's birthday and Freya was our Server. She was friendly and professional and dealt with my particular needs for a Low Fodmap Diet brilliantly, in liaison with the Head Chef whom I'd previously spoken with about my dietary needs. I can highly rate the Gluten Free Fish & Chips that I had and everyone else enjoyed their meals, too. Thanks, Old Picture House, for an excellent meal!

great 3 night stay here over the bank holiday weekend, had family with us, well appointed apartment with nice little kitchen, very comfy beds and nice powerful hot shower. Great restaurant onsite for lunch and dinner, we ate on friday and saturday night and had sunday lunch too before we left. our apartment was about 50meters from the beach so was perfect for the kids to play, and for a nice walk after dinner.

The Sunday Roast was excellent as was the service by Cameron & Freddie, and the bar/admin staff. Would highly recommend and will certainly be going there each and every time we visit Seaton. Many thanks to all at Old Picture House Pauline & Dennis

My partner and I decided on a quick one-night break away from home, and settled on a cross-county visit to Seaton. We booked this rooms-only apartment, not really knowing how it might compare with a more usual B&B. It was easy to find; there is 1-hour parking outside, and overnight parking a few metres away on the seafront. The key safe (code provided on booking confirmation) was a bit fiddly but we soon were inside. There is then a very steep staircase to the apartment, which consists of a kitchenette cum sitting room, the double bedroom, and a shower/toilet room. All fittings and furnishings seemed clean and looked pretty new. For a cold January night, the heating worked well, except the shower-room radiator which takes a long time to heat up. There are two TVs, one in the kitchenette and one in the bedroom. The former is oddly placed, at one end of the kitchenette wall - presumably to avoid being over the cooker. The sofa is quite narrow, and not particularly good for watching TV when we returned after an excellent meal at 'Le Pisani', but the bed was comfortable. We needed to call the phone number provided to obtain the wi-fi password, as the apartment contained no written information of any kind! So overall this was OK for one night, and indeed would be fine for a longer self-catering stay - it's within easy walking distance of the town centre shops, restaurants, etc - as long as you're not looking for luxury...

3 nights at the old picture house ! What fantastic apartments, very clean and well equipped ,very comfortable bed and a perfect location for a nice relaxing stay ! including a lovely welcome by the owners ! 5 stars through out !! a lovely beach 200 yards away with all the amenities within walking distance too ! Well recommended !

We were walking sections of the coast path and have just had 3 nights in the Directors Suite which is a studio apartment with an en-suite shower room. It was great, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The on street parking just around the corner worked fine for us. Our host, Ann, could not have been more kind and considerate. We would stay here again if we are in the area and highly recommend.

The entrance is old and dated. It could do with updating. But don’t let this put you off. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Super modern kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very high quality- super comfortable with exceptional bedding on. The towels are very high quality also. We would stay here again.

Apartment very comfortable, clean and cosy. The use of Kitchen equipment, you are able to cook, store items in fridge. Staff we’re friendly and helpful. Big Tesco’s within 5 minutes walk to do shopping. With Apartment in centre of Seaton, you are able to walk around to shops, Cafe’s, Takeaway etc. Long stay car parking within 5 minutes.
