This is a review of the restaurant only as we didn't stay in the hotel. Though the menu was a little restricted the food was always very good, the service excellent and it was all reasonably price, particularly for a hotel.

We loved every minute of our stay at Panas Hotel. We stayed in a standard room that was big and spacious with lovely character, really authentic, comfortable double bed and balcony space. Nana and the staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! They gave us towels for the pool and an umberella for the beach. These lovely people made our stay extra special. The breakfast was fabulous, fresh Greek yoghurt, fruit, pastries and some bacon & eggs etc. Very nice coffee too?? The hotel also has a lovely menu for lunch and dinner, the Tzatziki is amazing!!! The Caesar salad & beef stifado were also delicious. The pool area was great with a lovely view overlooking the mountains and sea. There is a beach right next to the hotel which is stunning and great for snorkelling, we even saw a sea turtle!! This place is perfect if you are looking for pure relaxation and peace. My advice would be to hire a car if you did want to explore some of the attractions on the island, the centre Argostoli is about a 15/20 min drive away. We loved our stay so much and will definitely be back one day! Many thanks, Ofelia and Joe ??

What a beautiful hotel, swimming pool, room and restaurant, Nana and her staff were so friendly and helpful, we had an absolute fantastic holiday, and we are going to book for June 2026, the views out to sea were stunning

Siamo arrivati il 22 agosto 2025 e ad accoglierci c’era un signore. Appena effettuato il check in ci ha lasciato le chiavi della stanza -la numero 35 - e già dall’esterno si notava che quella camera, insieme alla numero 34 e 33 erano di una struttura più datata. Entriamo in stanza e ci rendiamo subito conto che la camera presenta anche una stanza con due lettini, anche se noi avevamo prenotato una doppia ma il problema è ben altro: la stanza all’interno era esattamente come l’esterno….. datata. Per non parlare del bagno: vecchio, il gabinetto molto datato e il soffione della doccia mezzo rotto (abbiamo provveduto a renderlo più fermo, cercate di non toccarla troppo, allego foto!), senza box e nemmeno una tendina, per cui una volta fatta una doccia il bagno rimaneva completamente allagato. Decidiamo allora di chiedere al signore della reception se poteva cambiarci la stanza dato che dalle foto della prenotazione non doveva essere quella: lui, in maniera molto maleducata, sostanzialmente ci dice che l’albergo è full ed è stata colpa nostra perche abbiamo prenotato tramite un sito intermediario e non direttamente dal sito del loro albergo. Pazienza, non stiamo neanche a protestare, alla fine siamo in vacanza. L’acqua arriva ma con molta fatica arriva calda. Ultimo giorno di vacanza incontriamo invece una signora alla reception, gentilissima, disponibile, ci concede di fare il check out alle ore 18:00 anziché alle ore 11. Magari averla incontrata prima al check in! Probabilmente ci avrebbe trovato una soluzione.

Wonderful, panas hotel was amazing. Thank you to nana and her Wonderful team who made us feel very welcome, from the waiting staff to the cleaners and management couldn't do enough for us. From giving us umbrellas for the beach and if we wanted towels for the pool they were also available. You definitely go the extra mile for your hospitality Thank you so much for the amazing memories that we will cherish. We hope to be back one day. Keep up the good work.

If you like a relaxing and quiet holiday I highly recommend booking this hotel. Writing this from the airport waiting for our flight home, from the moment of arrival to getting in to the taxi on the way home, every thing was wonderful. Staff are all brilliant, very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, it was a real pleasure to come back to our room each day to it being freshen with clean towels and mopped throughout. We stayed in a superior room which had a lovely sea view and was modern with a very comfortable bed. Meals in the hotel are excellent, traditional Greek fare, and there are also several other restaurants in walking distance. The fantastic beach is 70 steps from the hotel - with water so blue and clear, however there is also a beautiful pool on site- with no fighting for sunbeds! Plenty to go round. If you want to go into the capital a taxi can arranged and it takes less than half an hour. Just wonderful

We loved our short stay at Panas Hotel! The owner was extremely nice and very accommodating! I initially booked a solo room and then added my 2 daughters at the last minute. Mrs. Panas was very helpful and made sure we could stay together. The location is perfect - right on the beach in Spartia. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning strong and the grounds, including the pool were immaculate. Also breakfast was amazing! We will definitely return!

This was a perfect place to stay in Kefalonia. The room was lovely with sea views. The breakfast was tasty and had a good choice to suit everyone. The pool was lovely. I loved to sit and look out to sea. We ate at the restaurant 4 times in our stay and in comparison to other local restaurants we found the value for money, service and quality of the food exceptional. Spartia beach was a lovely little place. The beach was small but perfect for swimming and never too crowded. Highly recommended if you would like a relaxing peaceful holiday with lovely food and within easy reach of beautiful beaches in the South, beautiful villages and walks in Mount Ainos and - short drive to Argostoli. You do need a rental car though. Thank you so much for making our holiday special.

Wonderful stay! The staff were warm and attentive, the room spotless and comfortable, and the location perfect. Excellent restaurant and great attention to detail – highly recommend!

This place it's AMAZING, not joking, i am in love?? with the place. Very nice quiet beach just outside the hotel, you got a very nice pool area which is perfect to relax with a cold beer, the rooms are very clean, the food it's good, staff very friendly i can go on about everything but no point , you get the poin. Also want to Shout Out to Nana the hotel manager who makes you feel welcome and looks after you. I booked this holiday in the last minute and i was a bit worried about it, but this place proved me wrong. Highly recommended. We hired a car , plenty of parking spaces at the hotel. Tbf you got more then you need here. A place you need yo Visit.
