We did enjoy the peace and the view. There was no one around when we arrived so had to wait about half an hour to get checked in. Definitely need own transport if staying here. The cabins are tiny and quite run down. Water leaked all over the floor when showering. Lots of mould, cracked flooring. The little bar and ‘restaurant’ only open 2 days/week for a couple of hours and limited choice of food. Overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Has everything you need. Not the flashiest accomodation breakfast was good, beautiful view and nice for the price paid. If you’re expecting 5 star accommodation you have to pay big bucks and stay at the resorts but this was nice. Get a scooter and you’ll be good to go as it is a far walk to town. I’d stay again, if you enjoy the simple things in life you’ll be ok here. Only down side is the neighbours had rubbish in a paddock that smelt bad for 2 days .

We stayed at in one of the bungalows at Paradise Lodge for 4 nights and loved it. It is a little out of the way but the deck, bungalow and otherwise the location was amazing. Moana picked us up from the airport and took us to the local supermarket to get some supplies. They also have bikes to use which come in very handy. It is very quiet and there is not much around (takeaway places etc.) but that is what makes it special, and it truly is paradise. Tamanu resort and Tavae resort are about 15-20 minutes' walk away (beach or road) and are very good options for dinner. A basic, but very nice breakfast is delivered to the room every morning and we enjoyed that on our deck with the beautiful view. Reception seems to be only open until lunchtime and Wifi is a bit tricky. Just ask for the starlink pw on arrival.

KEIN Paradies! Sparen Sie sich Entt?uschungen, buchen Sie woanders. Bungalows sind alle am Strand, leider mangelhafter Zustand (viele mit halbem Dach), Mosquitonetze fehlerhaft angebracht. Frühstück KLEIN gehalten , vorallem in Nebensaison. Man zahlt für 2 und bekommt ein kleines Frühstück. Lagunenbereich unglaublich schlecht zum Schnorcheln, nur kaputte Steinkorallen, sehr seichtes, SEHR TRüBES, schmutziges Wasser in diesem Bereich. Besser auf der Ostseite der Insel oder im Süden buchen. Verbringe meinen Geburtstag hier, interessierte Rezeption aber nicht wirklich, diese ist auch kaum besetzt oer erreichbar. Immerhin konnte ich einen Bungalow wechseln. Alle Liegen am Strand sind kaputt. Bin sehr entt?uscht, so viel Geld für kein Paradies am Strand, kann ich daher gesamt nicht empfehlen.

Oh wow, where do I start?! Great location, awesome self-serve bungalows RIGHT ON THE BEACH, with the best fine sandy beach around (no coral). Moana and staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, tidy, room-y, had everything we needed ... and the front deck overlooking the water ... WOW. Friendly cat (Sandy) was a treat for me too. Cute geckos and all island life entails. Sun, Coconut Palms to shade under (watch for dry ones falling), warm winds and tepid seawater to swim in. Pictureque!! Close by are resorts if you wanted to dine there, or nearby cafes, takeaways and shops to buy groceries and drink. All is there! Stayed 5 nights with family and friends celebrating an 80th birthday, and Moana, her family and staff organized one heck of an evening under their outdoor dining area and bar, including traditional dancers. Nothing was too much trouble. And in my opinion everything we did and saw was well worth the money, and VALUE for money too. Highly recommend. I will return!!

A lovely place with friendly staff and is located right on the beach. The view from the bungalow is amazing. They are also working on upgrading the property pretty quickly. The cocktails and food at the bar are really good. We would definitely book to stay again.

Prefect beach front location, cute bungalow and fabulous people. Close to everything especially since Moana helped us and got scooters ordered ready for us. She couldn’t be more helpful. This is paradise at a really reasonable rate. We will be back.

Genuine beach and lagoon front island experience. Absolutely loved our stay at Paradise cove. Only beautiful 10 minute beach walk to the great restaurants. Or have a cocktail and meal at their very own bar. There really is nothing like waking up every morning to palm trees, beach and lagoon.

Nice beachfront bungalow. Quiet aside from the roosters all day. But very run down bungalow. We stayed bungalow 10. Water in shower stopped working just as I had soaped up. No one around to get it fixed so had to wait till later in day. Then kitchen sink drain leaked wetting all plates whenever we used sink. Light switch near bed didn’t work so bedside light stayed on. Had to pull fitting apart to remove globe. Outdoor balcony had raised nails so cut foot, as well as rotting boards so had to tread careful. I realised when booking it wasn a five star bungalow but expected more for $260/nt. Shame also that the the lagoon out the front was always too shallow to snorkel, even at high tide.

Right on beach front. Small and old poled huts. Balconies with wonderful views west. Quiet and comfortable. Solid breakfasts included. Friendly helpful staff and management with free airport transfers. Great value for money. This is a budget option which some reviewers seem to have misunderstood. 4 huts have had balconies rebuilt and work continues on a fifth. They are slowly upgrading. Every unit has its quirks I expect. The units would be 40-50years old with original fittings. But the water is hot it has aircon and we forgive the 40 year old bathroom fixtures. Look where we are. A tiny island in the middle of nowhere.
