The staff at Premier Inn were friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I would recommend Premier Inn to anyone visiting Alnwick.

1st of several nights. I was greeted on arrival by the duty manager, George, who was very helpful & friendly. Later, when I went for a meal, he was also running the bar, waiting on & cleaning tables and taking payments. He'd also had to arrange a cover chef, as the rostered one had not turned up (thanks to Rob, the chef, who agreed to double shift to cover). Although not excessively busy at any one point in time, I was impressed by the level of service provided. It would be nice to hear that staff were acknowledged for going well beyond what should be expected of them.

The hotel is just a couple of minutes of the A1 and about a mile from the centre of Alnwick (a nice walk if the weather is fine) and it has plenty of parking spaces. We stayed as we were visiting the Alnwick Playhouse and we thought this hotel was excellent. The room was a Premier plus room and was very spacious for two people. The bathroom had way more room than a normal Premier Inn room and the shower was very nice. The bar area is really nice and cosy. We will definitely stay here again.

Just wanted to thank Toni during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for her, I had an issue with my booking after arriving late on a Sunday night but it was sorted straight away.

Excellent stay, the staff were great and the Premier Plus room was clean, warm and comfortable. We had a good breakfast each day and ate there twice for dinner which we thought was good value. Parking was free which was a bonus, although the EV chargers are very expensive Would definitely stay here again

I had a lovely stay at the premier inn, staff was very friendly, lady on Christmas Day morning, was an asset to the company! Greatly recommended for those looking for somewhere to stay during Christmas period!

Absolutely outstanding hotel! Service at reception was quick and pleasant, staff on the bar always had a smile on their face. Breakfast service was good as always, Karen on the bar made my porridge with no hesitation and it was delicious! I didn’t get his name but the tall chef can make an amazing breakfast and is very friendly. Dinner service was ok. Comfey and clean rooms I can’t complain! Will definitely stay again
