Comfortable room . Clean and well provided with refreshments . Friendly approachable staff . Good buffet breakfast with good variety of options . We had an evening meal the first night and restaurant was very busy and service a bit slow . Our chicken curry was lukewarm . Parking available on site . Good position for visiting Alnwick if you have transport . It’s on an industrial estate

The rooms were comfortable which is what we expect from Premier Inn but when we asked to have our room cleaned , it wasn't done. Breakfast was overpriced and Luke warm and the main meals were laughable, my wife opted for smothered chicken but they didn't have any so she chose a linguine and tomato sauce meal. It was the size of a child's meal and literally was just blitzed tomato sauce with 2 cherry tomatoes as a garnish and luke warm for 13.99. Our friend wanted a pizza only to be told they had none so he opted for a luke warm burger and fries. I really don't understand why they cannot provide another meal. This has to be the worst premium inn we've ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few around the country. We would not be going back to this one again

We’ve stopped PI all over and really satisfied but this was a complete let down. We arrived and booked in on the screen, only to answer all the questions then to be told computer wants you to go for key at reception which completely defeated the object. Got to our room which was fine except for the dirty bath. Windows don’t open on the g/floor so fresh air is out of the question. No glasses if you want a drink, reception said they don’t supply now. Had our meal at night which was pretty bland and poorly presented, never did get my side of onion rings even though I asked. Got back to room to the noise of a fan which was constantly on, went to reception but no one about. Eventually had to throw the little breaker to stop it but that put the lights out. In the am 8.30 reported to reception who said they would sort, got back at 4.30 to a noisy fan, back to reception to meet a fab member of staff who knew exactly what I was talking about, he’d just had the same complaint from another room, he checked if any attempt was made to sort but it hadnt. The guy was on his way home but said he would fix. To his credit and our sanity he got his ladder into the ceiling space and sorted. What a fab guy! He explained there would be no air con but would return in the am if required. We were happy to get a good nights kip. All in a poor stay with poor support from reception apart from a knight in shining armour on his way home.

This is a new Premier Inn in a great location with a large car park. We visited in half term and loved the location for visiting Northumberland. Our room was clean with the usually Premier Inn layout for a family room. It was also very quiet so a good nights sleep had by all. Our only disappointment was the staff, apart from the man who ran breakfast all the other staff were clearly unhappy in their jobs! The lady at breakfast was openly huffing and puffing and complaining that the hotel was fully booked and full of families. Well it was half term and families want to enjoy a well earned break together in a happy and welcoming atmosphere. Not the usual welcome you receive in the north east. We would stay again for the location but would eat elsewhere due to the service received.

Great clean and tidy place food was very good also and friendly staff made welcoming. 20 min walk into the centre with some nice shops and market definitely be back we stayed to watch a show in playhouse 5 star rating highly recommended will be back soon

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Alnwick. Don’t be put off entering the industrial estate that the premier inn is on . Just follow the signage. The hotel is very quiet staff are really friendly and it is near lots of supermarkets. Aldi. Marks and Spencer foodhall and Turnballs who do amazing large takeaway Breakfast baps starting at ￡3.20 and takeaway breakfast s for ￡5 and hot lunches. Well recommended and only 2 mins away. Ps. Alnwick shopkeeper have the best Christmas shop windows that I have seen in ages.

Excellent location Very friendly and helpful staff as we have an autistic child who has a limited diet they were helpful with providing hot milk for us breakfast etc... Would definitely go back. With shops close by as in walking distance I would definitely go back

Nice enough hotel a bit on the expensive side for one night. Room was clean with comfy beds and all the basic facilities you would expect. AC was great as was the shower. However the cooked breakfast was poor to say the least. The black pudding was a paste with a hard skin. The bacon and sausages lacked a bit of colour and looked anemic the mushrooms were pretty much raw. Hash browns and beans were just fine. The continental part of the buffet was quite good.
