Amazing family business! During our honeymoon, Sorrento was in our books and from the moment we arrived until we left, we felt comfortable. The owner Luca is just an amazing person who cares about people. Each room is designed in different antique style and it feels like a journey coming back in time. I recommend this place in a heartbeat and we will be back.

What makes this hotel is Luca! He is so helpful and really did make our stay. The hotel is located just off the Main Street so a perfect location for exploring Sorrento. We will definitely return to this hotel when we come back to Sorrento. The gardens and rooms are beautiful too.
Relais le Rupe, is sublime. A stunning heritage building, five minutes walk from the main square, with a serene and quiet ambience not usually possible, in a central location. Think old world charm, carefully restored to its former glory, furnished to a high standard throughout, with amazing history and all of the amenities you need. The family offer the most warm and authentic welcome you could hope to receive, but it doesn't stop there! Luca speaks perfect Engliah and delivered the most outstanding service throughout. You will want for nothing, and I have high expectations! From recommending the best restaurants, to booking the most stunning tours and adventures, his passion for ensuring his guests have a truly authentic and memorable experience, is second to none. There is no pretention and great attention to detail, without trying too hard. Complete humility, and a willingness to go the extra mile, for each and every request. Handsome accommodation. Amazing service. Their terraced gardens, with little fountain, and pool are a perfect little oasis for retreating when you've tired yourself out after a walk up Mount Vesuvius, or one of the many other activities you might choose to do! It was my first solo travel, and I was a little apprehensive. Well that soon evaporated with the Sorrento sun, and the local people in general. I couldn't have felt more safe, and well taken care of. There will be no hotel envy... of even the smartest hotels! Once you arrive at Relais le Rupe, you will have to try hard, not too smile too much, about the fact you definitely booked the right place. The only downside to the trip, is leaving with a heavy heart, when you have to say goodbye to Luca and Relais le Rupe. 10/10.
