Extremely friendly and caring local hotel owners who offer a relaxing, peaceful place surrounded by orange trees and jasmine flowers -with lovely, modern amd clean comfortable rooms. The pool is gorgeous and the view is spectacular. Spartia is an authentic Greek village with some tavernas and mini markets. We always feel so welcome here, thankyou

This is now our third visit to Residence Poseidon and as always it did not disappoint! A warm and heartfelt greeting as always from Vaghelis, he showed us to our room, which was spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and also provided fresh towels too which was nice. We only had breakfast on our first morning as we decided to get some bits in. Breakfast was still full of lots of choice, a lovely buffet of hot and cold dishes, a selection of traditional cakes, fresh fruit and many more delights! Oh and it’s not one of these places where you have to be up and getting breakfast at 7am either! Our trip was made up of a mix of going out visiting different places and chilling out by the pool. When we were by the pool we had lunch from the pool bar, again the selection on the menu is vast, and includes things such as, Greek salad, toasties, hamburger and more! All is freshly cooked to order and at great prices. Kefalonia remains a special place to us. Thank you again to all at RP for making our visit feel like a home from home! See you next year ??

Wir wohnen eine Woche bald in einem kleinen Haus mit zwei Schlaf-und Badezimmer in der Residence, unser Schlaf ist ausgezeichnet, weil ungest?rt, die Betten gross und bequem, die Anlage etwas abgelegen in Spartia. Was mir aber von Beginn an missf?llt: Die Rezeption ist unbesetzt, es gibt niemanden, mit dem man sprechen, den man etwas fragen k?nnte, das Personal spricht nur eine Balkansprache, sonst nichts. Unter den jungen Frauen, die putzen und das Frühstück machen, versteht nur eine ganz wenig Engisch und übersetzt. Als wir ankamen, war eine junge Frau da, die gut Englisch konnte, die habe ich nicht mehr gesehen. Auf der Webseite wird zweimal eine Kaffeemaschine erw?hnt. Die gibt es nicht. Zwei kleine Bialetti-Dinger stehen im Schrank. Die Badetücher sind bretthart, werden jeden Tag gewechselt (was ich unn?tig finde). T?gliche gründliche Reinigung. Strandtücher sind weicher und dürfen auch zum Strand genommen werden, nicht bloss zum Pool. Frühstücksm?glichkeit vorhanden, von uns nicht genutzt. Es soll aber gut sein.

We arrived at Residence Poseidon in August and we had a great welcome from all the staff. Alex and Christina were so lovely. The environment was clean and healthy. A great breakfast. We had a very lovely time there and I would recommend them again. Adeyinka

Such a lovely place to stay. Spotless rooms, lovely staff, with every amenity for a self-catering stay. So peaceful with beautifully tended gardens, well maintained grounds and perfect pool with bar, and with fabulous views of the sea and mountains. We had a car for our whole stay which is a must if you want to venture beyond the local area, although Spartia village is a short walk with a restaurant, a couple of lovely cafe’s and mini markets. The beach is a loooooong walk down a very steep hill, not for the faint hearted. I’ve been to Kefalonia a few times and Residence Poseidon exceeded my expectations.

We stayed here in a studio apartment was lovely and clean a family run business couldn’t do anything more to help sorted a car for us but the day before the car came they took us to the beach and never charged us and picked us up . The view are breathtaking and area is lovely and quite . Lots of fabulous restaurants near by just what we needed. Can’t wait to come back. . Breakfast in the morning was full of choice.

Absolutely outstanding in every respect. We have stayed here many times over the last 20 plus years. Never have we had anything to complain about. Its a perfect paradise for us. Numerous family members have stayed here and we have sent many friends who like us cannot speak highly enough of Residence Poseidon. The owner Vaghelis is always there to help with advice about Kefalonia. He will sort hire cars for you and help if anyone needs medical treatment. Its a very safe place for families to stay with young children or older relatives. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Ci siamo innamorati di questo posto. E" la quinta volta che veniamo ed e' sempre magnifico Vaghelis persona speciale, accogliente, disponibile, sempre simpaticissimo! Colazione spaziale! Posizione eccellente, immersa nella natura ma a pochi km da tutte le spiagge più belle e dalla capitale Argostoli. E' difficile descrivere la magia di questo posto....dovete provarlo!!!

Soggiorno presso il Residence ottimo, grande pulizia nell’appartamento immerso nel verde e all’esterno, cura particolare dell’ambiente ma soprattutto la squisita gentilezza di Angelo, sempre disponibile e cortese. Colazione favolosa Ivano, Claudio, Anna ed Elisabetta Ancona

Once again a wonderful stay at Residence Poseidon. Rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view from the balcony. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Only thing worth mentioning as there is a room service menu with drinks / snacks in our room. These are not complimentary. I think this is a new service for 2025 so is a welcome addition if you wanted to make use of them.
