We came back to Kefalonia after 20 years, the Poseidon Residence was amazing. Beautiful sea and mountain view from our balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was cleaned everyday with towels and linen. The cleaners were amazing and friendly, they work so hard with a smile. Loved the pool area, and the lady at the bar was fantastic, calm and friendly and the food was fabulous. The owner and family have a wonderful place here ??
My family and I stayed at Residence Poseidon for two weeks this August. My wife and I are 50, and our children are 10 and 20. Based on the reviews, it ticked all the boxes for a relaxing stay and a base to explore the island – and it really did deliver. You do need a car, as it’s away from the main resorts. We had one but still chose taxis for evenings in Lassi and Argostoli (around €25 each way), as I enjoy a few glasses of wine and a cocktail with dinner. The accommodation was lovely – spacious, clean, with a big balcony where we often ate after long days exploring. The kitchen was very well equipped, making quiet nights in easy. Lidl is only a 12–15 minute drive away for stocking up. One surprise was the “complimentary” gift bag (wine, crisps, olive oil etc.), which we later found was chargeable at checkout. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did take away from the gesture. Also, the lady serving breakfast didn’t seem particularly welcoming in our interactions, which was a shame. That said, the main hosts, Cristina and Alex, were exceptional. Cristina was warm and always let guests know she was available if needed. Alex in particular stood out – on one occasion, he noticed I wasn’t myself and instantly asked if I was okay. It turned out to be a small issue with the safe key, but his reassurance and attitude (“You’re on holiday, don’t worry – I’ll sort it”) really stuck with me. Thank you, Alex, for your intuitive and caring manner. The pool area was stunning – well-maintained and peaceful, a perfect retreat from the busier resorts. The nearby village of Spartia has a small supermarket and a lovely family-run restaurant, Kavo Liakis, which we enjoyed. Final note from the girls: no full-length mirror in the apartment, which apparently is very important! Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and I’d happily recommend Residence Poseidon to anyone visiting Kefalonia. We’ll definitely return.
This was our 4th family holiday to Residence Poseidon. Our family consist of two adults in our late 40's and a teenager of 15 years of age, who has a moderate learning disability. I'm sure all of the excellent reviews have already summed up all there is to be said with regards to the comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation, the lovely breakfasts with a huge variety of choice, the picturesque views, the swimming pool, tennis court etc. Residence Poseidon is located on the edge of Spartia and is within easy walking distance of several restaurants, two coffee bars and a mini market. Spartia beach is a 15 to 20 min walk. The airport is approximately 15 minutes by car and similar to the capital Argostoli. Great for a relaxing stay or as a base for exploring all Kefalonia has to offer. Vaghelis and his family are the most wonderful, generous hosts and go above and beyond expectation. We are always made to feel most welcome. Needles to say that Residence Poseidon holds a special place in our hearts and we are already planning our return for 2026.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Residence Poseidon per una settimana e non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio. La posizione è davvero strategica per esplorare tutta l’isola di Cefalonia: da qui è facile raggiungere le spiagge più belle, i paesini caratteristici e tutti i punti panoramici. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, sempre pulitissima e accogliente. Si respira un’atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata, ideale per chi cerca una vacanza senza stress. Un grazie speciale a Vaghelis, il proprietario, sempre disponibile e gentile. Ci ha fatto sentire i benvenuti sin dal primo momento. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere Cefalonia in modo autentico e confortevole. Torneremo sicuramente!
Je recommande fortement cet établissement nous y avons passé un super séjour ! La petite villa est très agréable à vivre, l’extérieur est merveilleusement entretenue et sent très bon la fleur d’oranger. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique et rend les temps sur la petite terrasse très sympathiques. (photos de la vue devant la chambre en fin de journée et à midi à l’appui). Le petit plus très agréable c’est la grande piscine et les transats dont on a bien profité. Bien situé et proche de magnifiques plages (Spartia Beach et Pessada Beach), un super h?tel pour des vacances très ??Mamamia??. Les gérants sont des gens d’une très grande gentillesse et aux petits soins.
Super séjour passé dans cet établissement qui mérite amplement ses 4 étoiles ! Nous avons profité de vacances très reposantes grace au cadre magnifique du lieu et de ses infrastructures telles que la piscine avec vue sur les montagnes et le service de restauration vraiment très bon. En plus, le gérant et le personnel sont très accueillants et agréables, faisait de notre séjour un vrai moment de partage ! Nous reviendrons c'est s?r !
Je recommande les yeux fermés cet h?tel. Les gérants de l’h?tel sont d’une gentillesse et d’un accueil extrêmement chaleureux, on s’y sent comme chez soi. La piscine exposée plein sud est idéale pour passer une très bonne journée. L’hotel est idéalement placé pour visiter les belles plages du sud (à 5mn en voiture), mais aussi les villes colorées de Argostóli ou Asos par exemple. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet h?tel et avons pu pleinement profiter de cette ?le magnifique, très animée, notamment pour Paques. Encore un grand merci !!
Siamo stati di nuovo in questo residence che consideriamo oramai la nostra seconda casa. E' bello svegliarsi e vedere un grappolo d' uva davanti alla tua finestra! Colazione come al solito fantastica con tanti dolci preparati da loro. Il posto ideale per rilassare corpo e mente. Qui non non è necessario pensare a nulla perchè per te lo fà Vaghelis e il suo staff !
