The location, views and decor of the treehouses are stunning. "The nest" is advertised as a 3-bedroom treehouse which is suitable for families. I booked for 2 nights for my husband, our tween daughter and I with the plan that we would not be using the double bed in the open plan lounge area. I specifically called reception to confirm that there were two proper bedrooms with doors. However, when we checked in, I was disappointed to see that the master bedroom with the ensuite is more like a granny flat under the main area with its own main door and separate key. To get to it, one needs to exit the main door to the outside, go downstairs and essentially enter a separate apartment downstairs comprising of a bedroom, bathroom and laundry. This would be ideal for another couple. However, it is not ideal for families with children. We ended up using the double bed in the open plan living area instead. This bed in the living area has no privacy and is bathed in light by 5am since most windows do not have blinds. Overall, this treehouse needs some maintenance and should be dusted well before guests arrive. We worried because when hot water is switched on, a strong smell of gas is released in the patio. This is particularly noticeable when filling the spa or when turning the spa heating on. We reported this, but maintenance told us that it is because the system is old. This is concerning.

Secluded and just what we needed, from location, meals, cleanliness and isolation! Just perfect and feel in love with the swing.

I don’t think I will be coming back. The place was beautiful, but the service was so bad. I had to ask 5 times for someone to come to our table and take our order. Only 3 drinks were ordered, a frappe, a milkshake, and a large flat white. And it took about 1hour. The workers were chatting the whole time so when the flat white arrived it wasn’t even hot. I also asked to go to the bathroom and the worker told me, “Im busy, you find it” ECSUSE ME??? Im all for being independent but they are there to help not be rude. I do think the place was lovey but someone definitely needs to knock some sense into the workers.

I decided to propose to my now fiancé at Secrets on the lake. Cassandra was amazing and took care of everything including a video call before the special day, so I had a clear understanding of where I would be going for the very special and intimate moment. By creating the perfect planning, she helped to calm the nerves before popping the question! The backdrop and facilities are incredible, it was very intimate and felt like we were secluded on a stunning tropical island with no one else around. The picnic was amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thankyou so much for what will be a lifelong memory! I highly recommend anyone else looking for a stunning place and set up, to pop the question, to consider doing it here. I am wishing we also booked accommodation there too as it looks incredible.

Incroyable immersion dans la nature sauvage, avec une chambre dans les arbres propre et confortable, accessible par une passerelle en bois taillée dans la forêt; un lit, une terrasse et un jacuzzi avec vue sur un lac sauvage, sa faune et sa flore flamboyantes, un parc au bord du lac comme un jardin d’eden, des cano?s et cannes à pêche à disposition, une restauration de qualité servie sur la terrasse pour le d?ner, un soucis du détail extraordinaire, avec des sculptures en bois lissé d’animaux, un propriétaire, créateur de ce lieu sublime, qui vous accueille avec une rose en vous expliquant à quel point il a fait de son rêve une réalité, en bref, un expérience sensorielle et immersive exceptionnelle dans un lieu incroyable. Attention, il faut absolument choisir les ??tree housse??, et pas les appartements, beaucoup moins spectaculaires. Un expérience inoubliable à faire une fois dans sa vie !

Secrets on the Lake is absolutely magical. So happy we stayed here for our honeymoon. The details and craftsmanship in our treehouse and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The views are incredible as well. Felt like a lost boy in Neverland. Rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. Staff were lovely but George is the heart and soul of Secrets. Such a cutie! We will be back!

A beautiful meal in an amazing place. Not only is it a great place to eat, but the walks surrounding it as well. We pre ordered a birthday cake and it was delicious. The staff are so helpful. They decorated our table and chairs for us. Highly recommend visiting!

I have been a long time advocate of "Secrets" enjoying taking interstate visitor for a meal and even staying in the treehouses. Until today the experience had been wonderful. Today I had 4 visitors that I thought it may be nice to call in and have a coffee and a cake. It was 80mins before closing and the cake cabinet had ample. However I was told that afternoon tea was not being served today, which was disappointing but it was the way in which this was conveyed that was worse. The manner in which this was conveyed was just plain rude. My partner felt the need to phone them on the way home and while apologetic, we were to the kitchen was in "meltdown" today. Sorry but not good enough.

the whole experience of and in secrets is truly unique. the only down side was leaving.

My friend and I were wonderfully appreciative of the excellent service, especially given by Emma, when we enjoyed a very nice afternoon relaxing here. The ambience is perfect. Food exceptional. Wine list varied. Cocktails available too.
