Amazing! Nothing was too much effort and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. They made a note of my banana allergy for breakfast smoothies too.

We feel very lucky to have experienced this amazing hotel on our South Africa adventures. The Lodge is outstanding, the staff amazing, attentive and very friendly. We stayed in one of the executive suites that had just been refurbished, with private pool, we have stayed in some magnificent hotels over the years but this place was without doubt the best ever. The game drives were incredible, our ranger, Senzo, was so knowledgeable and professional, and we had many close sightings of all the ‘big 5’ and more. The food and restaurant staff were top quality and we were privileged to experience a private dining dinner in the wine cellar. Thank you so much to all at Shepherds Tree, we will most definitely return

This was our second visit to Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge, and somehow it managed to be even better than the first. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care of the team stood out once again. A special thank you to Gold, our ranger, whose knowledge, passion, and calm presence made every game drive unforgettable. We would also like to recognise Prinisha, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the phenomenal team she has built, as well as Maria, Simba, Siya, Piet, and Ellen for their outstanding hospitality and attention to detail throughout our stay. The service across the lodge is consistently exceptional — friendly, intuitive, and never intrusive. The renovated rooms are beautiful, thoughtfully updated, and added an extra layer of comfort and luxury to an already world?class experience. Shepherd’s Tree continues to set the benchmark for safari hospitality. We left feeling relaxed, spoilt, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended — it truly just keeps getting better.

Wir hatten super sch?ne Game Drives und haben einiges gesehen. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit super wohl gefühlt und das Personal war sehr nett. Der National Park ist kleiner und pers?nlicher und dadurch nicht so überlaufen. Alles in allem Superpreis Leistung.

Receptividade incrível, todos incrivelmente preparados para atender bem, com carinho, presteza, aten??o. Destaque especial para a nossa Ranger “Hellen”, que nos acompanhou durante 5 safáris, mil estrelas para ela. Outras tantas mil estrelas para toda a equipe da recep??o, para a atendente da lojinha, para os motoristas do carrinho de golfe que fazem o nosso deslocamento até o quarto, para os atendentes do restaurante. Enfim, toda a equipe merece milh?es de estrelas. Sobre os Safáris, s?o feitos em carros especiais, para até 10 pessoas. S?o dois por dia, um às 5 da manh? e outro às 5 da tarde. Duram em média 3 a 4h. Todos valem à pena, afinal existe a oportunidade de você ver uns animais pela manh? e outros pela tarde/noite. Recomendo, fa?am todos e quantos puderem, n?o ir?o se arrepender. Sobre os quartos, todos excelentes, bem estruturados, limpos e sempre arrumados. Alimenta??o a “lá carte” é boa, está inclusa na estadia, as bebidas (alcoólicas e n?o-alcoólicas), s?o pagas.

Os 25 quartos e as 7 suítes muito bem equipadas , arrumados 2 vezes por dia . Os games ( 2 por dia ) belíssimos e muito seguros ! Refei??es elaboradas com muito cuidado e qualidade . Quanto aos funcionários, extremamentes educados e preocupados com cada detalhe para a hospedagem ser inesquecível. Destaco aqui nossa guia Hellen, fez cada game ser inesquecível!
