Lovely rooms equipped with mosquito netting and a large shower. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel shuttle is very pricey 45USD per person but it’s a pretty professional service. Food was great. Overall, a great and safe place to stay with friendly staff!

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war gro? und vollkommen in Ordnung. Es gibt eine sch?ne M?glichkeit im Freien zu essen und sich aufzuhalten. Frühstück und Abendessen mit gro?er Auswahl. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel is very big, so it is easy to get lost. It is obviously an old building, it is dull and dark. It is convenient but bot great. 3 or 4 stars. The bed quality is bad but the sheets are clean. Many things did not work when I checked in and entered by room (the safe was not working, the telephone has a poor connection, the balcony window was not opening and the refrigerator was broken), but the staff was very nice and put me in another room. There is a fitness center but old equipment, not very inviting. ethe breakfast was very basic (not to say very bad). The main asset of the hotel, frankly is its staff, which is very professional (all of them) and very nice.

Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe is an amazing hotel. The staff are incredibly kind, accommodating and friendly. The food is even better. I really enjoyed the variety provided for breakfast and the spiced tea and mixed tea- definitely worth the calories. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was so sad to leave. It felt like a second home. The trainer in the gym was also really amazing- I learnt a lot. I will definitely visit again.

The marque has poor air conditioning system. The meeting was held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It was very hot in the marque and not conducive for a meeting. No wonder most of the participants were dozing during the meeting.

My office made the reservation with the reservation tesm but when I checked in, my booking wasnt there. An inconvenience and this is not the first time its happened with our company. I eventually got a room. The room though had no operational shower.

The hotel still requires a lot of improvement. Not much has changed since the last year I worked in Malawi and stayed many times at Sunbird Capital in 2004. No lift/escalator for disabled patrons; Rooms are comfortable but still dated -no change to bathroom facilities - not bad but dated. Very comfortable bed and spacious room; Staff are polite and friendly and attend to your needs promptly. Breakfast offered a variety - Great food. Pressing Iron and Kettle have a different plug and no visible instructions as to which socket to plug in. Locked us out even when we had extended our check-out time. Had to call someone to open for us.
