The grounds are wonderful and provide short walks or play areas with the beck running through the centre of the grounds. The accommodation is kept to a high standard and the staff are really helpful and friendly. There are so many places that one can visit from the Hall, with the Moors Visitor Centre only a couple of miles up the road on the edge of the Moors. Also there are many properties and attractions that are easily reached for day trips, even the coast is only an hour away.

Comfy bed and good towels. Cottage was well equipped, for eating in. Didn't use sauna or hot tub as outside and it was very cold. Private use of pool was nice. Location good for North York moors and York and Ripon. Will visit again and explore more of the area

A stunning resort with everything you need on site, set in beautiful grounds with spacious clean rooms, a bonus for us was the use of the pool all to ourselves for an hour at a time, staff were very welcoming and friendly, there was access to a fitness room sauna and hot tub and also lovely grounds if you desire going for a walk, I couldn’t recommend it enough and anyone booking here won’t be disappointed

I was very impressed to find this little gem hidden away in North Yorkshire. The managers have done a great job maintaining the history of the property but have introduced new furniture to make it comfortable. We thought we had booked an apartment but we were very pleasantly surprised when we were allocated a cottage. It was fantastic for our night away. Plenty of room for 3 adults. Very clean which was wonderful. The views are amazing and it’s such a relaxing place. We used the hot tub which was a nice little addition to our holiday. The following day we took the woodland walk in the sunshine. We will def be returning. Thank you
