We stayed two nights at Thanda Safari Lodge and loved the place, the people, the food and the enormous suites! Although the weather was not very favourable (rain), we had some great game viewing with our very knowledgeable ranger Ephraim and tracker Ronny. The food was delicious and the employees were all lovely and truly dedicated.
Can't say enough amazing things about Thanda! The standard tents are WAY more than standard they are EXQUISITE! Mbongeni and Thuba our driver and spotter were so great! We had the opportunity to really get to know them and they are amazing people as was everyone we met at Thanda! The food was wonderful, the massage at the lookout was bliss. Our family will definitely return!
Exzellente Unterkunft, man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Jeder Wunsch wird einem sofort erfüllt. Extrem kinderfreundlich. Super gutes Essen. Tolle erfahrene Guids und Tracker. Man bekommt neben der Tierwelt auch die Pflanzenwelt, Tierspuren erkl?rt. Unser Kind wurde sehr gut in den Safaris mit einbezogen. Mega spannende Safari mit tollen Tiersichtungen.
Par souci de clarté, je synthétise mon impression par des appréciations point par point... à noter, nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans la partie Lodge (pas le camp de tentes donc...). - Infrastructure, situation, standing : 8/10 - chambre : 9/10 (villa/lodge privée avec plunge pool) - Nourriture : 7/10 - Professionnalisme du personnel : 6/10 - Gentillesse du personnel : 10/10 - Safaris (animaux): 8/10 - Paysages : 8/10 - Spa : 7/10 - Rapport qualité-prix : 9/10 En résumé, une belle expérience. Les chambres sont vraiment immenses et intimes. On ne voit pas des animaux à chaque coin de bush (comme à Sabi sand par exemple) mais les games drives sont quand même pas mal du tout...
