Lovely classic hotel. Beautifully furnished, warm and spotless.Room was very comfortable, great choice of breakfast. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Nigel gave us a very warm and friendly welcome when checking us in. Room was very clean, spacious, and quiet.
Open fires throughout out gave a real cosy vibe to the hotel. All staff including the cleaners were really friendly.
Restaurant had a good selection of reasonably priced food. Would definitely recommend.
Really friendly guy on reception who was great and helped us sort out parking etc. Room was lovely, well furnished and all felt high quality.
The only bit that slightly let things down was breakfast. Although the food was good (when it came), the service wasn’t. No-one gave us menus so we had to ask, then we had to ask to actually order, it was all a bit erratic and the server didn’t really seem to know what they were doing! Also, on a more minor point, the coffee was terrible!
Shame really as everything else about our stay was great!
We were upgraded to the Cuckoo suite which was lovely overlooking the lit gardens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Close breakfast menu was also very good with lots of choice, we had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine which were very nice.
Super sch?ne Location , super leckeres Essen ( viele Sachen an den Tagen probiert und für sehr gut befunden ??) und nette Mitarbeiter ! ??????????Kinder sind in der Spieleecke gut und lange besch?ftigt . Rundum ein sehr sch?ner Spot mit vielen M?glichkeiten.
Tolles Hotel schlechter Service
wir sind kurz vor 13 Uhr am Hotel angekommen und wurden mit den Worten, "ihr seids jetzt aber schnell da" empfangen worden. 7 Euro Trinkgeld für das Abendessen wurden sehr absch?tzig behandelt. Ansonsten ist der Zustand des Hotels gut bis sehrgut. Das gilt auch für die Speisen und Getr?nke.

Junior suite had what you needed. Kitchen with coffeemaker and even a dishwasher.
Beds could use an upgrade. The slats on the beds could use an upgrade. Some were mounted wrong and some were even broken.
WiFi was good, restaurant had a good play area for kids and food were also good
