We visited CF for Sunday lunch as a Christmas Party. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very attentive throughout the meal, nothing was too much trouble. The food was to a very high standard. My steak was cooked perfectly and presentation was beautiful, plates were also warm - big tick! The staff even offered to take pictures of us around the tree. It was such a special day and we felt so welcome - Thank you!

Just returned from a fabulous stay at the Curious Fox Skipton . The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.The decor of the bedroom and bar is gorgeous , definitely worth a visit . The breakfast was delicious.We will definitely be returning .

Visited for our company xmas lunch, 38 of us. The service was impeccable, the staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Even though we were a large party there were no delays with the food. Would definitely visit again. Couldn't fault a thing!

Cracking night at the Curious Fox - bit of a treat for chrimbo and the “team Gargrave/Flasby” let our hair down - great bottle of red from the fine selection available - accompanied by some glorious food - personal recommendation for the belly pork which was magnificent! Great service, lovely place and a full 5 star recommendation from all of us - defo for anyone wanting to be welcomed with a smile , enjoying a up to date and modern bar and restaurant and great food - thankyou. Oh …… forgot and a great glass of port to finish !!

My husband and I went here for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. We had the platter of 3 meats (lamb, belly pork and beef). Couldn't fault a thing, definitely worth a visit. Chocolate brownie afterwards was sensational! Staff were brilliant and the owner, Lee, was really lovely, chatting with us and checking everything was okay. Will definitely return.

We had a lovely weekend at the curious fox for a friends wedding, we stayed 2 nights in room 5. Unfortunately the shower screen was broken (which the staff knew) before we got there & it was a pain when having a shower, but Karen kindly gave us more towels for the floor. Visitors to places like this need to take more care of the properties furnishings they visit. Breakfast was lovely but I would have preferred the option of juice and ordinary bread instead of sourdough, but it was still very nice. We had dinner on the Friday evening which was also lovely. The staff are very nice, friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if we were in Skipton.

Thank you for the review, we do take all constructive criticism on board, we can only apologies for the shower screen however this was no fault of ours and we now have a new one fitted, we do ensure all guests take extra care with facilities however things happen, were so glad you enjoyed your overall stay hopefully you can return!
