Went for a one night stay, it was amazing. The hotel is fabulous staff are fabulous. it was a real 10 out of 10. The beds were super comfy, so were the pillows, the breakfast which was included in the room rate and made a super full menu, with plentiful breakfast items that wouldn’t disappoint every taste - I cannot find anything that wasn’t first class. We will stay there again for sure.

Excellent hot breakfast buffet &/or complimentary menu choices. Beds were very comfortable. Central location on Eyre Square was so convenient to Shop Street & all the restaurants & pubs & made our trip completely walkable. Nearby parking was close to major shopping centre.

Clean room, friendly check-in. Standard Irish breakfast. Shower was tiny! No frigerator in room. Felt the 250 euro rate was too high. Location was perfect to shopping, bars and restaurants.

The amazing thing about this hotel is the service-very attentive.
Our room had an issue so I requested another. The front desk offered an amazing room for the trouble which was not expected at all. An amazing view, much bigger, and a really nice gesture.

Beautiful room in a beautiful property perfectly located within Galway - right next to the train and bus stations, but quiet enough that you never hear a thing! Also, the best vegan breakfast we had on the trip, and it's not advertised nearly enough. Highly recommended!

Great location .. lovely old hotel but needs some freshening up. Large comfortable rooms, beds and bathrooms but dated and dreary. Good service personnel but front desk personnel need some “hospitality” training. Very quiet and nice even with two weddings and a bachelorette party going on.

This is a beautiful hotel with a good staff. MacNeill's pub is great. It's in the center of Eyre Square.

The hotel has a very old vibe to it but it’s still very clean and has had updates. It came with a breakfast buffet that was very good. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and as flat as rocks. We did have an issue with the shower. The drain was plugged with hair that caused the shower to overflow into the carpet of the room. We ended up cleaning the hair out of the drain ourselves so it wouldn’t soak the carpet further. It then left a musty smell to the room. I explained the issue at check out and the receptionist just wrote down to clean out the drain on a piece of paper and didn’t offer us any kind of compensation for having to clean a wad of hair out of the drain ourselves. That was what was disappointing. For a hotel that looked like it could be five stars it easily became three in my book.
