I simply loved this place. Can definitely visit again. In hills of Binsar home to Nanda Devi. Resort: 1. It is beautifully designed, combining modern architecture with the natural environment around it 2. you have to walk through village to go to hotel and the entrance gate is tiny, it confuses you, but the resort is exact opposite of that 3. doesn't have reception which I liked 4. Fireplace in common area 5. Books and board games at common area Room: 1. 10 rooms with lower & upper chalet. 2. The rooms are spacious and clean. It has window lounge seating & metal fireplace. 3. We took upper chalet which had huge terrace attached. 4. Washroom interior has been done with plants 5. Minimalist concept with grey cemented interiors. The amenities like tea, kettle, water etc are kept in cupboard 6. The cupboard is made in sleek way and the washroom door is same as cupboard, that the door + cupboard look like one plain surface 7. Heater is provided Food: 1. Restaurant serves local and organic food with proper course meals. 2. they focus on Kumaoni cuisine, giving visitors a taste of the local flavours 3. They make you sit & serve properly in thalis. They don't rush on food. Dining area is extremely beautiful. Open and indoor area 4. Indoor area has huge glass window giving undisturbed view of nature 5. its good to eat dinner outside enjoying chilly weather Staff: 1. attentive and friendly, making sure all your needs are taken care of 2. the team is very helpful with arrangements 3. they did amazing setup in my room for my birthday with flowers, cake and bonfire on balcony Activities: 1. Spa 2. Walk around nature. Go for trekks 3. Resort plans excursions like village tours 4. cafes nearby but we didn't go as resort was enough for us 5. you can go to Nainital, Bhimtal, Almora, Kasar devi temple, Ghodakal Temple, Kainchi dham, Kakrighat in Almora - can be done on the way too. 6. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary
