In our 6 weeks of travel (21 places stayed at), The Waves B&B was our favorite place to stay and dine in. If you love dogs then this is heaven. They have many dogs themselves and the locals who are so friendly, bring theirs as well. The staff were so welcoming. Food was delicious. Room was so clean and fresh, loved the beach decor. Highly recommend.

Lovely relaxing night spent at the B&B plenty of coffee and tea bits. Room was mostly clean, walls had a few tea splashes, marks. In the main clean and comfortable room. Shower wet room, very clean and lovely soft towels. Would stay again. So close to the beach, I took my morning tea and sat on a bench watching the sunrise.

Just had 4 nights at The Waves. It may be near the end of the season but room was clean, tidy and comfortable and breakfast was just what we wanted. The cafe staff were friendly, polite and service was spot on. Menu was quite varied at a reasonable price. Car parking wasn't a problem and you were right on the sea front - you couldn't have got any closer!

We really appriciated the warm welcome from John and Caroline. With their excellent service and recommendations our stay in Galway become greater than we had expected. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast had everything you could desire and more. Located in a quiet area very close to the sea and Galway center. When we comeback to Galway we would stay here again whithout any doubts!

What a little Gem of a place, perfect for what we wanted, friendly staff, the room was very clean and parking right outside, food was lovely too, we will definitely be paying this b&b a visit again perfect little getaway for a night or two especially if you attend a concert at dreamland, Thank you to the staff for being very welcoming x

This is such a great little place. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, a bonus to the beautiful doggy's who were so well behaved and happy to come over for belly rubs and head scratches. We were only staying overnight with my parents in the accessible room and my husband and I in the deluxe double. The rooms were clean and spacious and the showers were really amazing - great water pressure. The only thing that i feel would have been of benefit would be another plug socket - there was an extension cable but it only reached as far as under the bed so charging mobiles was a little challenging. Other than that we were happy with our stay, you cannot get a better location! The breakfast was good quality and plentiful - and my mum loved the ice cream. Would have received 5 stars, but due to the renovations happening (that we were unaware of until arrival) during the night you could smell wet cement (musty dampness) from the work being done. I am sure when the new rooma are complete it will be beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back again. (Not the place if you are not an animal lover, but great for those who are, or have dogs themselves as they are very welcome.)

Stayed for 2 nights,with our dog. We have never stayed in a more dog friendly room. The distance to the beach/ walks os so short from the B&B, and they are amazing. Breakfast was lovely. If you need a dog friendly place,this is for you. Staff were so accommodating.

Situé à Stanhil, station balnéaire, ce logement est aussi charmant que les h?tes. Chambre propre et spacieuse, breakfast parfait, idéalement placé. Merci à John et Caroline pour ce super séjour pour un bon point de départ pour découvrir Galway et sa région …

If you want hospitality at its best this is the place for you. Caroline & John made our stay with them most enjoyable and nothing was too much for them. We could not have been happier with our stay with them. The Wave is a little way out of Galway but very easy to get into by bus if you don't want to walk.
