We stayed in The Windsor Trooper for 3 nights. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome. Our room had everything we needed plus more. It was spotless cleaned, warm and had complimentary tea, coffee, hand soap and shower gels. The atmosphere in the pub is electric and welcoming. We will be back to Windsor to visit family and will be staying at The Windsor Trooper Pub & Inn again. Would highly recommend to all our friends and family. Excellent, immaculate place to stay. Very central. Good size rooms. Very accommodating staff. Good pub. always stay here if we have an early flight to Heathrow.

Brilliant proper pub with proper beers. For such a touristy area the prices were reasonable too. Stayed with mates in a large room which was clean and had everything you’d need. We’ve previously stayed locally in hotels at twice the price & we preferred this one. Came for the Mon Windsor races & we’ll be back.

What a fabulous experience .. excellent place to stay fab accomodation ... even more fab staff. We were a group of ladies of a certain age celebrating one of our 60th Birthdays on the hottest days ... such fab staff did everything to help us cool and be comfy nothing was too much trouble. Management you should be so proud. Will definitely be back .. well done all ??

Nice place to lay your head. Great sleep. Rooms above pub. No issue with sound. Friendly staff. Rooms clean. Pub + room feels like home. Everything is walkable in this nice neighborhood. Plenty of shopping and restaurants. If I get to return, this is where I will come.

Friendly and great owner James. The place is big and great locals. Will be back and its tvs outside just add to the crowd ahaha. Watched the england rugby game and everyone was loving it. Be back very soon. Great outside area with food trucks always near

The room was very clean, not too warm with a very comfortable bed. The welcome was friendly & professional and the pub looked good, a shame I was off the beer ??. It was located close enough to everything & I wasn't at all disturbed by the people using the pub garden.

Nice pub and rooms. But room situated a few feet away from the beer garden. So very very noisy. Have a little one so not great. I know it’s a pub hotel but nevertheless the noise was like we were actually sitting in the garden with the pub goers. Garden shuts at ten pm but had to call reception to ask for them to close it as it ran over closing time.

Stayed here for a Saturday evening late November. Helpful staff went through the check in process with us. We had a large double room facing the road. Bed very comfortable and clean bedding and towels provided. Decent range of tea and coffee supplied including decaf. We did hear the other guests returning as it echoed in the hall way but didn’t really disturb us. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub other than a few people chatting as they left. Only negatives which I think the owners could consider sorting is hanging black out curtains at the window and we also only had one bedside table. We didn’t eat in the pub itself but there is a good range of drinks at the bar and the staff were very helpful. No parking but we knew that before booking. Parking is behind the college and around ￡12 a day and staff explained the system there. Would recommend

A beautiful place to stay. Good location with amenities close by. The room was lovely with access to the beer garden- very comfortable and impeccably clean. Nice atmosphere in the pub and the staff very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
